President Donald Trump loves to talk about his love of U.S. soldiers, but did absolutely nothing to honor them on Veterans Day because he was “busy on calls.”

In an interview with Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace airing later this weekend, the host asked the president why he didn’t visit Arlington National Cemetery on the holiday honoring U.S. veterans.

“I should have done that, I was extremely busy on calls for the country, we did a lot of calling as you know,” Trump said, according to a partial transcript of the interview given to reporters.

Busy calling his attorneys that is. After all he was writing his answers to Mueller's questions, claiming he "easily" answered them "all by myself". It's like he's telling a teacher he did a take home exam without using google.

In that discussion he also criticized how CA firefighters were battling blazes. Is he an expert in fire fighting or something? He's going out there today where he is very much not wanted. Not by the victims, not by the first responders.

The Gallup poll found 53 percent of those surveyed approve of the president’s handling of the issue, up 3 percentage points from a poll conducted in August. This month’s figure marks Trump's best approval rating on the economy, up from the previous high of 51 percent.

Gallup said the average approval rating on the economy for all presidents from Ronald Reagan through Barack Obama was 45 percent.
