Just my opinion, but I think Ford has been pressured by Democrats right along. She wanted to make what she perceived happened part of the record, but she wanted to remain anonymous. She did not want to become part of the circus. Who could blame her?

Feinstein knew there were some holes in her accounting of the incident. That is why she held on to it. That is why the letter has no been released. That is why there was no investigation at that time. That is why Feinstein said "I can't say everything is truthful". It was leaked now by Democrats in a last ditched effort to slow down the process. There would be absolutely no reason for any Republican to leak it. They were going to the vote and the only thing that would change that is if the accuser came forward and testified.

What's going on now is just show. I'll be very surprised if she actually testifies. She does not want to be there.
