“This is about Trump’s domestic needs and Kim’s domestic needs,” Lewis said.

He added that he can understand why Trump was so eager for even a meaningless joint statement and a photograph heading into the midterm elections, given that he will now sell it as a great victory. “His base is truly willing to believe anything. Although, in a moment of honesty, he admitted that if none of this works, he’ll just lie about it.”

Trump, over a period of just a few hours, said he “trusted” Kim, felt “a very special bond” with him, that Kim was “very talented,” had a “great personality,” and was both “very smart” and a “very worthy negotiator.”

“It was an abomination,” said John Sifton, Asia Advocacy director at Human Rights Watch. “You don’t need to compliment and flatter. You just need to negotiate.”

Speaking of humorless libturds, Bobby Deniro making an absolute fool of himself two days in a row. Embarassing.

The best news of the day...The DNC has turned to Hollywood to help with liberal messaging. Thank you Lord! The good guys could not have scripted it any better. Thank you thank you thank you.

It remains to be seen what Kim is going to do. Signatures on a document mean nothing to him. What if he’s serious about disarming though?
                You don’t think it’s worth a try?
SCOTT ADAMS: "History doesn't have to repeat. 'History is always evolving.' What is the biggest issue everybody has with North Korea right now? We're stuck in our mental prison of history. We're stuck assuming that the past repeats. This is saying right from the start, history evolves. History doesn't repeat, history evolves."

"Where have you heard that before? Kanye. Candace. You've heard this before domestically."

"History is always evolving, and there comes a time when only a few are called upon to make a difference," the narrator of the video says. "But the question is — what difference will the few make? The past doesn’t have to be the future. Out of the darkness can come the light, and the light of hope can burn bright. What if?"

Perhaps we can all agree it is better that President Trump is talking to Kim Jong Un than exchanging threats over nuclear war.

                  Whaddaya think TMan?

If Barack Obama had held a groundbreaking summit with the leader of North Korea, the liberal media would be nominating him for another Nobel Prize. They cheered Obama's meeting with Fidel Castro and resumption of diplomatic relations with Cuba, despite the repressive nature of that regime.

The fact is, American presidents negotiated with the old Soviet leaders, who crushed human rights, and continue to meet with China, which is also a repressive dictatorship. The world is full of bad guys. That doesn't mean the United States should refuse to engage.

                      Hmnnnn
Be real. The meeting in Singapore was never intended to be a negotiation event. You don't hash out the end of a 60 year conflict and the elimination of a complex nuclear weapons program over the course of 45 minutes, but you do have to start somewhere.

The pledge to end the military exercise with South Korea just saved the taxpayer $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

U.S. Inflation Accelerates to Six-Year High, Eroding Wages

Consumer price index rose 2.8% in May from a year earlier
Inflation-adjusted pay unchanged over 12-month period

What was that about rising wages cons?

                        Smoke and mirrors .

                        We tried to tell you.

It’s going to go to heck fast now - do wake up
Good thing Americans got a tax break to offset rise in inflation.

Wages are a major business cost and can contribute to inflation when they are increasing. Wages recently have risen both because of state and local minimum wage hikes, and because employers have to pay more to retain and attract quality workers at a time of low unemployment.

Feds will raise interest rates again to offset inflation.

Such is life predicted long before Trump took office.

Only the ignorant would blame Trump and you can bet the left is depending on the ignorant for votes.

There's no agreement, moron. Not yet anyway. What was signed was a communique. It's just the first step in a long process.
