HOWARD SCHULTZ: It concerns me that so many voices within the Democratic Party are going so far to the left. I say to myself, 'How are we going to pay for these things,' in terms of things like single payer [and] people espousing the fact that the government is going to give everyone a job. I don't think that's realistic...

I think we got to get away from these falsehoods and start talking about the truth and not false promises...

I think the greatest threat domestically to the country is this $21 trillion debt hanging over the cloud of America and future generations. The only way we're going to get out of that is we've got to grow the economy, in my view, 4 percent or greater. And then we have to go after entitlements.

        Ouch

Too good not to share ...

[quote]House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Intelligence Chairman Richard Burr, both Republicans, broke with President Donald Trump on Wednesday over allegations spies infiltrated his 2016 campaign, saying they agree with GOP Rep. Trey Gowdy that the FBI did "exactly" what it should have done over its handling of a confidential source.

The declarations by the leading Republicans are the latest indications that Trump lacks any evidence to back up his claims of a major political scandal he calls "spygate" -- since those lawmakers were among a select group briefed on the classified intelligence at issue. The only Republican briefed on the intelligence who has yet to break from Trump is Rep. Devin Nunes, the House Intelligence chairman who has demanded more documents as part of his investigation.
"I think Chairman Gowdy's initial assessment's accurate, I think, but we have some more digging to do. We're waiting for some more document requests," Ryan told reporters at a news conference on Capitol Hill. "It would have been helpful if we got this information earlier."
        "I think that Trey Gowdy's description of the process was correct," Burr said[/quote{

That’s gotta hurt Cons. Read the tea leaves....

Speaking of sluts. Remember when the lefties had a fainting fit when Limbaugh said this:

"What does it say about the college co-ed Susan Fluke who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex, what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She's having so much sex she can't afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex. What does that make us? We're the pimps. The johns? We would be the johns? No! We're not the johns. Yeah, that's right. Pimp's not the right word. Okay, so she's not a slut. She's "round heeled". I take it back.

So we will put you down for “no comment” on Paul Ryan, TRey Gowdy , and Richard Burr publicly saying that Trump is wrong about the FBI....

And they have SEEN the evidence ....

This is important because without the “spygate” claim taking hold, Trump is defenseless. He WILL go down unless these very same Republicans “cover” for him.

And a con won’t come within a hundred miles of this ...the daily drip that shows the worst fears about trump are TRUE

Three of the trustees of Social Security and Medicare include Trump cabinet officers so they are well aware of the problems. Trump has promised not to cut Social Security and so far he's been good at keeping his promises, much to the chagrin of Democrats. Do you think he's going to let either fail under his watch? Do you expect Trump to fix a problem that has been known and ignored by decades of past presidents and Congress in a year and a half? What have Democrats got to offer to fix the problem?
Note: TMan can't answer that question.

PAUL RYAN: “Chairman Gowdy’s initial assessment is accurate, but we have more digging to do. We have some more documents to review. We still have some unanswered questions... If we got all the information we were looking for, we could wrap this up faster."

What's taking the DOJ over a year to release requested documents? And now where hearing that the Trump people were under investigation as early as 2015.

So what do YOU have to say about Trey Gowdy's comment:

REP. TREY GOWDY: I think defensive briefings are done a lot, and why the Comey FBI didn't do it I don't know, but [FBI director] Chris Wray and [deputy A.G.] Rod Rosenstein have at least made it clear to us, Donald Trump was never the target of the investigation and he is not the target of the investigation. Keep in mind, that can all change based on testimony from a witness. But, for now, I think Chris Wray and Rod Rosenstein are stunned when people think Trump is the subject of their investigation. I'll leave it up to them for how to brief the president and his lawyers.

Southern California lawmaker recalled, stops Democratic supermajority

                            https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/06/...supermajority/

LOS ANGELES — California voters unseated a sitting state senator in midterm on Tuesday, denying Senate Democrats a supermajority and setting up a statewide battle this fall over a gas tax increase.

Republicans said the recall showed Democrats are vulnerable after they successfully targeted Democratic state Sen. Josh Newman’s vote to raise gas taxes last year. A Republican-backed effort to repeal the tax increase is likely to be on the November ballot.

Thanks . So “spygate “ looks like guilty trumps diversion from all his criminal activity . Or over active mental illness. No reason then to be so combative
If you aren’t a target and innocent to boot.
