Reagan Stevens, a deputy director in (Mayor DeBlasio's) Office of Criminal Justice, and two young men were arrested for illegal weapons possession while sitting in a double-parked car near the scene of a Saturday night shooting in Queens, cops said.

A loaded, 9mm semi-automatic pistol with its serial number defaced was hidden in the car�s glovebox, and there was a spent shell casing on the floor near Stevens� feet.

Stevens, 42, and the two men � who cops say also had knives on them � were awaiting arraignment Sunday night in Queens Criminal Court, where her mom, Deborah Stevens Modica, has been a judge since her appointment in 1997.

Her stepdad, Salvatore Modica, is an acting Queens Supreme Court justice. They both declined to comment.

Stevens, who lives in Brooklyn�s Bay Ridge, manages youth and strategic initiatives, and her main job is implementing a 2017 state law that will raise the age at which kids can be prosecuted as adults for non-violent crimes from 16 to 18.

What a disgrace.

More than 1 million undocumented immigrants have received driver's licenses, the California Department of Motor Vehicles announced Wednesday.

Assembly Bill 60, authored by then-Assemblyman Luis Alejo in 2013, required California DMV offices to issue driver's licenses to undocumented immigrants as long as they can prove their identity and residence within the state. The law has led to 1,001,000 undocumented immigrants receiving licenses as of March 31 but doesn't give the licensees carte blanche to drive outside of California or fly across state or federal borders.

"Immigrants are getting tested, licensed and insured and this is making our roads safer for everyone," said Alejo, now a Monterey County supervisor, in a prepared statement. "Today, we see the law working the way it was intended to and has dramatically improved the lives of a million immigrants and their families."

How has this improved the lives of American citizens? Laws intended to benefit illegals ? What has happened to this country ?

California signed up an estimated 450,000 people under Medicaid expansion who may not have been eligible for coverage, according to a report by the U.S. Health and Human Services� chief watchdog.

In a Feb. 21 report, the HHS� inspector general estimated that California spent $738.2 million on 366,078 expansion beneficiaries who were ineligible. It spent an additional $416.5 million for 79,055 expansion enrollees who were �potentially� ineligible, auditors found.

Auditors said nearly 90 percent of the $1.15 billion in questionable payments involved federal money, while the rest came from the state�s Medicaid program, known as Medi-Cal. They examined a six-month period from Oct. 1, 2014, to March 31, 2015, when Medicaid payments of $6.2 billion were made related to 1.9 million newly eligible enrollees.

Facebook is reconsidering classifying videos produced by Diamond and Silk, two of President Donald Trump's most ardent supporters, as "unsafe to the community" after the dynamic duo went on Fox News' morning show asking why the embattled social media giant had labeled them as such.

In a statement to Fox News, a Facebook spokesperson said: "We are aware of this issue. We are reaching out to the creators of Diamond & Silk to try and resolve this matter.�

After being deemed "unsafe to the community" by Facebook's public policy team, Lynnette "Diamond" Hardaway and Rochelle "Silk" Richardson went on Fox & Friends and said they were provided with no reason why their videos were labeled as unsafe.

"They gave us no rationale," the sisters said on Sunday. "The only thing they told us is that we are unsafe for the community. We are two women of color, how are we unsafe? We don�t sell drugs, we don�t belong to no gangs. It�s offensive, it�s appalling, it taints our brand. Why are you censoring two black women? Why are you not allowing our viewers to view our content?"

CNN�s Leila Santiago, covering the immigrant �caravan� moving through Mexico and toward the United States in recent weeks, asked the travelers where they intended to go on Monday. All who answered indicated that they would go to the United States to seek asylum.

Santiago first claimed that many of the migrants would stay in Mexico, and she asked those on the bus where they would go.

�They are fleeing violence from gangs that are controlling the areas in Honduras, Guatemala, El Savador, where they live,� she said. �Many of them will stay in Mexico.�

Senators from major soybean-producing states, including Republicans, are blaming Pres. Trump's aggressive actions against China for trade retaliation that could hit farmers and ranchers particularly hard.

The markets are still there. It just means a shift in the markets. Argentina and Brazil are expected to replace U.S. as source of soybeans to China, but to meet current demands China would need to buy almost the entire Brazilian crop. If that happens take a guess who Brazil's current buyers would get soybeans?

El Paso, Texas (CBS HOUSTON) � The Department of Homeland Security is looking to fulfill an order for thousands of pairs of men�s underwear � with hundreds of the requested men�s briefs in the 5X and 6X-large sizes.

A solicitation posted earlier this month by the Immigration & Customs Enforcement office seeks thousands of �White 100% Cotton Men�s Briefs� ranging from mediums to hundreds of 6X-large pairs of the underwear.

ICE facilities have seen a recent influx of detained immigrants awaiting deportation, during which time, the detention facilities require such basic items for the detained aliens, Breitbart reported. The ICE orders for the underwear are not unusual for the immigration detention facilities, according to ICE officials.

�This [request for quote] is a normal solicitation for routinely procured items needed at ICE-owned detention facilities around the country,� an ICE spokesperson explained to Breitbart News on Monday. �At ICE-owned detention facilities, the agency is required to provide basic necessities in order to feed and clothe detained aliens.�

The solicitation placed through Federal Business Opportunities cites that the large order � and large underwear � are bound for El Paso, Texas.

But such clothing orders may likely be needed in similar alien detention facilities across the southwestern U.S.

Earlier this month, more than 1,000 unaccompanied Central American children crowded into a Border Patrol facility in Nogales, Ariz. The flood of Central American minors has increased dramatically since last year, sparking what President Barack Obama called an �urgent humanitarian situation� near southwestern U.S. borders.

According to Green Valley News, the children are given medical exams, background checks, food, clothing and showers in the period before they are deported. However, a Border Patrol spokesman said that the agency is not accepting clothing or toy donations because there is not enough staff to inspect the items for cleanliness or safety.

State Sen. Andrea Dalessandro, D-Sahuarita, said there is not enough space in the crowded holding facilities to handle donations of clothing.

DHS data on arrested unaccompanied minors shows that since Oct. 1, there have been 11,577 from Mexico, 13,282 from Honduras and 11,479 from Guatemala. There have been 9,850 from Salvador.
