And now we learn that Trump actually did try to fire Mueller back in June 2017, but was stopped when White House counsel McGahn threatened to resign.

Well Given my history on the board I would love to say �no, in fact I am not surprised �

But I am.

And that amazes me.

Despite the often ribald hyperbole I employ , I AM shocked at their lack of respect for our systems and processes etc ....to think that they believed they could turn the criminal code itself on its head

But I am getting ahead of myself . I think we get much closer to end game soon.

Hannity is such a tool.

Sean Hannity on Thursday night was forced to backtrack on his own show as Fox News confirmed a New York Times report he had just attacked.

Earlier in his show, Hannity blasted a report that said President Donald Trump had tried to fire special counsel Robert Mueller last year*and accused the Times of �trying to distract you.�

�Our sources, and I�ve checked in with many of them, they�re not confirming that tonight,� he said. �And how many times has the New York Times and others gotten it wrong?�

By the end of the show, he was forced to admit that Fox News had confirmed the Times report.

His response?

First he said the president has the right to �raise those questions� about conflicts of interest without actually addressing Trump�s reported attempt to fire Mueller, promising to deal with it tomorrow.

Then, the man who had earlier in the show accused the Times of distraction quickly switched to footage of a police chase and car crash. Lol!

4th quarter economic numbers in and bad for trump

The U.S. gross domestic product, a broad measure of the economy, increased by 2.3 percent in 2017. GDP growth slowed in the year�s fourth quarter to an annualized rate of 2.6, breaking a two-quarter streak of growth of more than 3 percent. The economy grew far faster in 2017 than during the year before, but the slower rate in the fourth quarter underscores the challenge the Trump administration will have in delivering the growth he has promised. Officials have focused on 3 percent GDP growth as proof his economic policies were working, and Trump has said it could go far beyond that target

i.e. Trumps economic promises are failing
