Expect to hear a lot more of this claptrap as Ryan and Co. try to push through massive tax cuts that will further feather the beds of the rich, and kick the poor in the teeth. On the bright side a lot of the Trumpies won't miss them (teeth).

So if we are more humane to refugees, guess we e learned to cover ourselves and still act like christians - cue shining light on bill- vs the oxy addicts in red states whining they don't get enough white welfare

Despite what the libs would like to portray, Kansas has nothing to do with Brownback's policies and everything to do with an economy suffering from low oil and natural gas prices. Still the state has had a moderate population growth which is more than can be said for state like Connecticut, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.

They should stay and I'll tell you why.

It's smart if you can't compete at the most competitive schools to be wanted somewhere less excellent.

Our second tier high school students, even graduating from southern schools , will move that confederate culture closer to ours in a generation when our kids settle there. Easy least.

This is why libs inevitably win in this country. Those that can DO have competitive advantage

MA #1 among states in k-12. Naturally our kids will excel among the hayseeds.

Except if you actually read any of the articles posted today, that has yet to be the case.

While MA maybe #1, California actually ranks below West Virginia, Louisiana and Mississippi. Only DC, New Mexico and Alabama rank lower. California.

And since Kansas has been brought up, Kansas ranks ahead of Connecticut and Rhode Island. In fact Kentucky and Tennessee rank ahead of Connecticut and Rhode Island. There's no bells on New York either. Guess that blows your theory.

Connecticut and New York, the home of those that took down the world's economy in 2008.

Nothing to do with his policies? Lol!
The Kansas Republican legislature had to override his veto because they were out of accounting tricks and had to get the revenue back that he had disappeared.

It's the economy, stupid and it still comes down to an economy based on oil and gas and I should also add biofuels as well.

It's anticipated things will get worse before they get better as predictions are that oil could drop as low as $30 a barrel.
