    Think about this statement.

"If Trump has the economy rolling in 2020, he'll get re-elected. I don't care what the current numbers are. If Trump doesn't have the economy rolling in 2020, he has a problem."

And Democrats are willing to do whatever it takes to make sure Trump is not reelected.

The party that takes the hostages is the one at fault.

So in other words Democrats will do what they can to keep the economy from rolling. Yes, I agree with that point.

Yah sure, the Democratic Party is completely unified.

Earlier Sunday morning on CNN, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) said clearly that people can be members of the Democratic Party "as long as they are prepared to back the law, Roe vs. Wade, prepared to back women’s rights as we’ve defined them under the law."

Also on Sunday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said the opposite: "Of course" you can be a pro-life Democrat, Pelosi said. "I've served in the House with many members who did not share my very positive, aggressive position on promoting a woman's right to choose."

BTW TeeHeeMan, you need to watch this - MSNBC Panel: Is Democratic 'Unity Tour' Tearing The Party Apart?

While I disagree wholeheartedly with Sanders economic philosophy, Krystal Ball (who names their kids that???) nails it in this interview, but obviously nobody agrees with her. Fine by me because Dems will keep having the success they've had because they don't.

              So abstract

              Here's an easy one

Why did WH announce a dinner with SC then abruptly postpone indefinitely .....

Think some of them were unwilling to break bread with a future litigant in front of the court?

              Tee hee

              Bwa ha ha

Announcements like that just point to the sheer CHAOS within.

Or they point out your heavily biased and warped view of the world. Any number of reasons to postpone...but you always look to fit your agenda with any announcement.
It's called having a closed mind.

                  Whose cares? Nobody.

Trump maybe nominating a second justice this summer if rumors are true. If Ginsburg doesn't last he may have a third. But TeeHeeMan is focused on dinners. Now THAT is what I call hilarious.

Salena Zito writes for the New Post, the Atlantic and others. She was one of the few journalists who understood Trump could win. Why? Because unlike the elitists that never venture out of their Ivory Towers, Zito traveled the Lincoln Highway from Appalachia to the Rockies during the fall interviewing Americans. At that time she wrote in an article for the Atlantic that Trump supporters didn't take what Trump said literally, but did take what he said seriously. That's just the opposite of the press who took what Trump said literally, but not seriously. Zito wrote another article for the Post last week based on a return trip on the Lincoln Highway interviewing many of the same people from the fall. She basically found that Trump’s supporters have not changed their opinions and for many it has been strengthened. She writes:

"Trump’s supporters are unfazed that a new health-care law is not in place (yet), thrilled with the appointment of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court, weary of the constant accusations of his ties to Russia, supportive of his strike against Syria for using chemical weapons against its people and dismayed that House Republicans and Democrats are unwilling to compromise. To them, the president remains disruptive, unconventional, defiant and willing to change his mind — appealing attributes to his supporters, but not so to the press."

If Democrats think they will be able to undermine that support with the BS they've been shoveling, they are sadly mistaken.

Two-thirds of Americans think that the Democratic Party is out of touch with the country

                          https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.44cb2b41d23a

"the Democratic Party is viewed as more out of touch than either Trump or the party’s political opponents. Two-thirds of Americans think the Democrats are out of touch — including nearly half of Democrats themselves."

According to The Washington Post and NBC news, late this afternoon Trump signaled that he is giving in and will either accept non-wall money and pretend it’s like a wall or just give the whole thing up entirely and try again in the fall, which likely means never.
Who told you MONTHS ago there would be no wall and Mexico would not pay a cent. The rubes in this country might still clap but you do realize how WEAK he is.
