      More cracks in GOP support:

During a town hall in Claremore, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, Sen. James Lankford said that President Donald Trump should release his tax returns, according to the Tulsa World.

“He promised he would,” Lankford said when asked if the President should release his tax returns, per the Tulsa World. “He should keep his promise.”

A handful of Republican lawmakers believe Trump should release his tax returns, including Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and several members of the House Freedom Caucus.

At another event in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Lankford addressed the failed House bill to repeal and replace Obamacare and said it would not have passed in the Senate.

“The bill the House put out originally would have included twice as many people with half as much help,” he said, according to the Tulsa World. “That would not get through the Senate.”

The senator also criticized Trump’s social media use.

“I’m very aware our president is not a good example of how to do social media,” he told constituents on Tuesday, per the Tulsa World.

Dems quickly realizing celebrities pushing for candidates don't mean much anymore.

Oh, wait...no...they aren't realizing anything. Instead of talking directly to constituents, they still insist on trotting out people that have nothing to do with the electorate to convince them to vote. Like they are in grade school.

I see TeeHeeMan is headed over the edge rather early this morning.

Results in Georgia causing you a little agita this morning, TeeHeeMan?

Democrats had pumped more than $8 million into the Georgia special election.

Dems have always been very good at spending other people's money, lots of other people's money, regardless of the issue. Spending wisely though? Not so much. Maybe that explains why the DNC has been practically "dead broke" the past several years?

                    Did you miss this, TeeHeeMan?

                    From the Guardian:
Over the next six months, until summer 2016, a number of western agencies shared further information on contacts between Trump’s inner circle and Russians, sources said.

The European countries that passed on electronic intelligence – known as sigint – included Germany, Estonia and Poland. Australia, a member of the “Five Eyes” spying alliance that also includes the US, UK, Canada and New Zealand, also relayed material, one source said.

Another source suggested the Dutch and the French spy agency, the General Directorate for External Security or DGSE, were contributors.

Britain’s spy agencies played a crucial role in alerting their counterparts in Washington to contacts between members of Donald Trump’s campaign team and Russian intelligence operatives, the Guardian has been told.

GCHQ first became aware in late 2015 of suspicious “interactions” between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to UK intelligence said. This intelligence was passed to the US as part of a routine exchange of information, they added.

And even with all of these resources looking for more than a year the Democrats and their media handmaidens have no evidence of any wrongdoing between Team Trump and Russia to indict any of them.

                    Bwahahaha!

Brady? Brady? How is he relevant? Dems just keep hanging their hats on what celebrities think. Can't think for themselves.

Sad how they are so incapable of thinking for themselves. Explains a lot though...

                          Intellectual Dishonesty

When one avoids an honest, deliberate and comprehensive approach to a matter because it may introduce an adverse effect on personally held views and beliefs.

Intellectual dishonesty is a failure to apply standards of rational evaluation that one is aware of, usually in a self-serving fashion. If one judges others more critically than oneself, that is intellectually dishonest. If one deflects criticism of a friend or ally simply because they are a friend or ally, that is intellectually dishonest. etc.

Now I suspect all of us have been guilty at one time or another of one of the following. But I can only think of one person who is regularly guilty of more than one of these in every single post.

                            Signs of Intellectual Dishonesty

                            1. Arrogance
"My resume’s bigger than yours" which is all the more reason why the debater ought to be able to cite specific errors or omissions in logic, and yet either can't or won't.

                            2. Mockery.
Derision; ridicule or an absurd misrepresentation of the argument; no facts or logic.

                            3. Argumentum ad hominem
Attacking the character or circumstances of an individual who is advancing a statement or an argument instead of trying to disprove the truth of the statement or the soundness of the argument. Often the argument is characterized simply as a personal attack, name calling and stereotyping.

                            4. Argument from intimidation
It is used in the form of an ultimatum demanding that the opponent renounce a given idea, under threat of being considered morally unworthy

                            5. Handwaving or “Your views have no merit”
Look for ‘arguments’ that dismiss other views out of hand.

                            6. Never admitting error
These are the people who will never admit that they are wrong – ever – regardless of clear evidence.

                            7. Avoiding/Ignoring the question
These people are easily recognised from their efforts to change the subject to an unrelated or remotely related topic.

                            8. Employing double standards
The bar for the acceptance of evidence is set at a much higher level for the other party, while it is set far lower for his/her own evidence.

                            9. Straw man
The debater attacks an argument that is easy to refute, but no one has made in the debate.

                            10. Ignoring the principles of critical thinking.
Relying on one source of information because it supports that person’s views or opinions.

                            11. Rejecting facts or logic as opinion
It is true that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but everyone is not entitled to their own facts or logic. Nor is anyone allowed to characterize a factual/logical argument as merely the opinion of the opponent.

                            12. Theatrical fake laughter or sighs
                            Self explanatory.

                            13. Peer approval of subjective opinion
“Proving” correctness of a subjective statement by citing the approval of political allies in the same subject.

                            14. Finding small errors
Citing a slight error or typo as evidence that everything the opponent says is false or that the opponent is incompetent.
