Yep, DT is a real Peace Corps type. Loves all Americans, or so I hear.

For poor Obama you can only hope he hits his approach shot into the water for ironic punishment.

New poster. I've been thinking of counseling same. They will not let go of the binky.

Speaking of deflection (psst someone explain "projection" to them ) where is the ACCOUNTABILITY? In trump, the gop finally has a candidate that reflects their core sentiments as a base. Tough to embrace now I know when you realize there aren't as many of you as you think.

                Good morning,

Perhaps the local nutters have joined this group?

Nah. Polling is all wrong on this one. Not saying he is gonna win but going to be a lot closer than anyone thinks.

I think once Hillary starts to directly engage (i.e. debates, press conferences where she answers non-scripted questions) we'll see this get closer.

I don't see any way she loses this election, though.

(not a Nutter, but always accused of being one)

Begs the question in the article doesn't it?

What's "closer"? I think his support will define the 30% of irrational senseless angry voters who don't understand the true causes - effects in their own daily lives. An approximately 1/3 of voters underclass that will become permanent because trump and those like him will continue to exploit him.

I see though that you can't get so far as to reject his nonsense

I read a lot of about people stealing Trump signs (happens to all candidates every election, but reportedly is much worse this year), calls for him to drop out are constant, disbelief that he's running and nominated on this "platform", etc.

My question is...why? Why the push to have him walk away? To me, the Repubs made this mess and they have to live with the ramifications of it. Next election cycle, they'll have to re-think their policies and what is important to them.

Yes, the left brought the fight to them (i.e. trans-gender is one of the biggest news stories, but affects like .01% of the populate). But, as long as they stick to the archaic social agenda that is holding them back, they'll continue to be more and more relevant. Isn't that what the left wants?

The republicans are good at escaping accountability. Here is their MO. They will walk away and act like this unfortunately happened to them. "We didn't have a REAL conservative as candidate if we did......" Begging real questions.

He's their mess yes but come October they will without shame pivot and abandon him to hold enough congressional seats to gum it up for 4 more.

Thats why we need to pile on. I'm not letting r's off hook like "im voting for but not endorsing " ayotte.

This is my fear - that the Republican leadership will see Trump as such an outlier that they'll look at this year's results (assuming that it goes poorly for them) as a complete aberration. Therefore, they'll see no need to shift strategies, other than to make sure that they don't allow a Trump-like candidate to get this far in the future.
