I have long marveled at how the same groups of people who demonize public employees see nothing but halos over the police when the reality is they are just as fit and competent for their jobs as other public employees, no more or no less, only I would argue that the fact they have been exempted from similar scrutiny as other public employees, combined wi the authority they are GIFTED by US their employers, has put us between a rock and a hard place.
The same people who demonize unions look at police unions and stay passive? The next president should do to the police unions what Reagan, a good republican did to air traffic controllers.

Union worker: I never said that
My customer: That's what I was told
Union worker: I'm busy, do you want this looked at or not
My customer: Yes, I've been down all day and we are losing money.
Union worker: Ok, let me go to my trunk
We watch him sit in his truck for just under 15 minutes, comes back in
Union worker: OK, problem isn't here. I'll need to have it looked at up the street
My customer: How do you know...you didn't even do anything!
Union worker: It's not my problem, they'll have to send someone else out
My customer: No! I've been waiting over a day, you need to stay until this is fixed!
Union worker: My shift is over, I need to get back to the shop
My customer: Unbelievable! What's your bosses name?
Union worker: I don't work for (XYZ telecom company), I work for my Union. My shift is over, we'll be back tomorrow.
Union worker gets in his truck and drives off. Day care full of kids remains with no working landline, no internet access, no e-mail.
Yep...trying to make money......schmuck.
I do everything in my power to avoid union-workers if at all possible. Hard in some areas of the country, but it's always the same story: "Not my job."

The problem is, as with everything, greed and corruption. That's why unions have become more of an obstacle to economic growth than a benefit.
Must remain in place for some labor forces, but can and should be dissolved for most.

Actually, it's quite clear. Too bad you are too insistent to labeling everyone who doesn't agree with you a racist. It's coloring your view.
"Complaint: Well we already doing a good job of killing ourselves, we don’t need the Police to do it. Besides they should know better.
The more I listened, the more I realized. The more I researched, the more I realized. I would ask questions, and would only get emotional responses & inferences based on no facts at all. The more killing I saw, the more tragedy, the more savagery, the more violence, the more loss of life of a black man at the hands of another black man….the more I realized.
