    No thanks.
well thats a different story isn't it from the one you re singing..

i get it...if it doesn't work out for you nothing about it is good....but for some of us (estimate it will put pay for self...no electric bills but like $60,000 cash at current prices, maybe more, AFTER IT PAYS FOR ITSELF.

but you are right. Its terrible.

BTW mine is in the back i have no neighbors there that see it. My place looks like it always did. Although I like the way they look but company i used designed a beautiful, clean looking 10k installation.

      tee hee bwea haha

I've told you before you always disassemble like that when you struggling. You invoke named expert authorities to validate you belief system.

why not let us know who you expert witnesses are even if "many people" here are your imaginary play, ages.

Ion sure there are some nutter sponsored folks out there you can site. Or maybe not. What is it?

and physically speaking...since3 you are such an expert at physics.....if green plants harness and use six times the energy from sunlight every year than the entire human race uses form all energy sources (fossils, hydro, etc) in a year.

And space is available for panels where plants won't even grow!

SO you UNINFORMED declaration that there isn't enough space for this and that....read what you said....thats how people write when they aren't sure, aren't informed. see Peggy Noonan. how blowhards sound.

Renewable energy is hated as much by the nutters as people of color it seems
          Current solutions?
You mean storage of produced electricity ? Do you mean the possibilities of fire, explosions, hazardous material ?

Space available? They have to be in a specific facing location. It has to be sunny. The panels can get damaged. They have a shelf life. 1/2 the time they will not be producing energy. If Progressives get their dream of Electric cars, where will all the extra needed electricity come from ? A

If you covered the entire State of Kansas with solar panels, every square inch, and it was sunny 24/7, you would barely meet the minimum requirement for power for only part of the United States.

And educate me on how you will fly the average 1/2 a million people in the air over the US every day with Solar panels. Enlighten me how the hundreds of products made with petroleum products will be replaced by a sunny day.

And all the Progressive dream of renewables are only possible with the massive amounts of money taken from the pockets of the American taxpayer. $ 500 million down the tubes for Solyndra alone. Billions handed out to Progressive cronies that went belly up.

weren't we just discussing this with ex lax?

Perverted, right-wing hypocrites: Dennis Hastert’s alleged sexual abuse reminds us to check the closets of those who demonize consensual sex
Hastert allegations are a lesson in how common conservative hypocrisy is and why it must be exposed

Great Hypocrite Purge, where Republicans learned that turnabout is fair play and if they were going to expose the president this way, they better understand their own adulteries were to become the public’s business.

Newt Gingrich, then speaker of the house, was outed as a serial adulterer who felt no need to curtail his activities just because he was impeaching the president for the same. He resigned and Bob Livingston was flagged to become the next speaker, which lasted a hot minute until his own adultery was exposed and he, too, resigned. Dennis Hastert then was elevated to the speaker position in no small part because he was seen as a true blue conservative who lived the “family values” lifestyle he preached.

But of course that wasn’t true — is it ever? — and Hastert has been accused of molesting four high school boys in his time as a wrestling coach. He’s already plead guilty for financial funny business to cover up a whopping $3.5 million paid in what appears to be hush money to keep his history quiet.

If all this sounds familiar, it’s because everything old is new again, from the endless politicized fishing expeditions aimed at people named Clinton to Republicans leaking congressional leadership due to their own inability to not act like right wing crazies to conservatives chasing all sorts of bizarre theories to justify their irrational belief that the Democratic president doesn’t really count.

And, of course, we’re relearning a lesson that it seems the public needs to relearn every few years or so: If you see someone standing on a soapbox lecturing the rest of us about how we’re all vile perverts who need to get right with Jesus, odds are they’re doing the same thing….or worse.

The part about them being the worlds biggest user of coal and the largest emitter of CO2? Yup that part was clear. Also the fact that they have no skin in the game on emissions.

It doesn't work for the MAJORITY of people for various reasons. It would not work for ANYONE without the American taxpayer's contribution.

" Estimate". ? . Over the time span needed to break even, so much could go wrong.

You'll be very happy that you are still connected to the grid when something goes wrong. And something WILL go wrong.

Maybe you should test drive some of the new Hydrogen cars coming out, you seem like the right guy for it.

Regardless, renewables are many, many years away from replacing our need for fossil fuels, if ever.
Dollar for dollar , amount of energy per pound, petroleum and gasoline are still king. And we have plenty of it for along , long time. Unlike what Progressives were saying in 1974 when I was on the gas lines. Weren't we going to be out of oil by the year 2000 ?

Well, good for you. You have $ 10,000 to make up for, if everything works out.
Me, I'll spend less than that still on the grid , with not a care in the world regarding sunlight, system repairs, wind / hail, ice damage. Just a quick phone call if there is a problem.

Talk is cheap. Meanwhile the talkers are depending upon current technology to keep the lights on, keep them warm or cool, and refrigerating the food they eat as they sit around and discuss their dreams.

I'm the sucker for working my way through college I guess....
