The VAST majority of gun deaths are suicides, accidental, or murder manslaughter and in many cases are within a family or people know to each other. Tell me how many gun incidents occur when the assailant is more than ten feet distant. If somebody can hit and kill me with a frying pan from more than 20 feet sign them to an MLB contract.

I GUARANTEE a 52-47 popular vote in favor of Hilary (though I prefer Bernie) and about an 80-100 electoral vote margin.
