I pay my house cleaner $27 an hour and my landscaper $35. My handyman gets $25 an hour.

Are the services you mention for people self-employed? So, take that $25-27 and whack it considerably once they get taxed on it.

Also, landscapers and handymen are skilled labor. Should be worth more. $15/hour to put lettuce on a bun is a bit much.

Better than $5,000,000 to drive the economy to the brink of disaster.

I did that to my towns assessor a few years back and they lowered my depreciation rate so much that the tax went up dramatically. I had to file an abatement and let them in and then they readjusted the rate for the following year. These towns are cash strapped and will get you either way.

Housing is not an issue that can be generalized, it is specific to certain areas. Of course you are aware that some of the most expensive places to live are controlled by Democrats, and the building of housing may not take place, because they just don't want it there. San Francisco comes to mind.

I didn't say investing money, I said investing in education and training. No one wants to be a machinist, because College is sold like a dream ticket. But if you want a job as a machinist , you can get one. Nice wages.

Community College is affordable . If you don't have money, you need to earn some. Obama has added 10 million to the SNAP program and doubled the debt. That debt is on the back of future earnings. The SNAP program is riddled with flaws, graft, criminal activity. 60 % of the food purchased has sugar as a major ingredient. That contributes to Health problems , and for many of those on SNAP , you know who is going to pay for their Heathcare.

You do know that the majority of SNAP recipients are white senior citizens. Most of whom consistently vote against their own best interests.

Compare Costco to Sams. Costco pays more, most employees have health insurance, employees stay there much longer. Costco is more profitable and has greater sales per SF by a significant margin. You can throw out any of your conservative talking points and I can counter them with facts. That is the difference between a liberal and conservative.

So you are saying that you are against financial recovery from a near disastrous failure of the entire system and are hoping that we will engage in more destabilizing wars where thousands of young American lives are wasted, trillions spent in building a deficit backed by bonds purchased by a failing Chinese economy where we have exported hundreds of thousands of jobs to support corporate profits and reduce corporate tax burden. Not to mention the millions of civilians displaced in Libya, Syria, and Iraq due to our destabilization of an entire region by a war that profited the former VP and a handful of his cronies.
