You like to harp on how accomplished Hillary is. To be truthful, she is intelligent and well educated and I generally believe she works hard.

That being said, where do you suppose she would be if she had married somebody other than Bill? I don't think she was any factor in Bill's career, besides her willingness to accept the truck loads of disrespect he heaped upon her. If it wasn't for the .com boom, I'm not sure how his presidency would be regarded. I don't see a successful run for senate, definitely not an appointment to SOS.

She would probably be a partner in a law firm some place. Nothing wrong with that, but let's not forget how she got to this stage. She has certainly been propped up by her connections and the machine for a long, long time.

Taking personal opinions, claims of sexism, etc. aside, this is why Trump (as a private businessman) and Bernie (somewhat) have reasonated with some people. People just are politicians.

There is certainly an advantage of knowing how the government works, but, that's what staff is for.
