Become I'm curious, and I wanted to understand the pulse of where we are as a voting public. I don't recall so much hatred before...could be the proliferation of social media; could be that nobody really likes their candidate and is instead shooting down the other candidate.

Try to actually think before you post. The country voted in Obama TWICE, to some extent despite the white male voting block, but that very block thought we were just putting a black Prez for the first time and didn't realize the cultural shifts that would occur in connection with that. We are more multi-cultural, with significant progress in areas like LGBT, and white males of a certain but large demographic ARE freaked out. If you understand who most hates Obama and who is most unlikely to vote for HC you can then see even if you're slow that race very much is at play. As far as sucking, and again, despite that large white male demographic Obama's approval ratings are as high as anyone since Reagan at this juncture in a Presidency. Even with constant bashing and a major "news" outlet entirely devoted to destroying him.

No, not at all, but he keeps asking them over and over with, up until the last post, no explanation about why he keeps doing it. Like is he doing a poll, or looking for help with his own decision, or what?

At any rate, I'm voting for HC because BOTH I am FOR her and AGAINST Trump. That said, Trump is so dangerous and so unqualified that even those who hate HC should still vote for her. We're not actually in a movie we can walk out of in 2 hours. This is real. This matters.

There was a great line from a female Marine captain...It's not just about Trump's judgment. This election is also about OUR judgment. We cannot get this wrong. And if we do we have reached a sad point in America and no longer will be substantially different from other countries where something like this could happen.

Original poster...trying to not get involved in the back and forth, and looking to gain a pulse on the anger. To be sure...there is a LOT of it...and it's from both sides.

You don't know me, and who I am voting for. Maybe I'm Conservative, and embarrassed for who we nominated. Maybe I'm Liberal, and don't like how our nominated candidate isn't trustworthy. Maybe I haven't made up my mind. Maybe I have more hope for the country than a lot of you. Maybe I'm shocked how we treat each other today, and am hoping we realize each other aren't the enemy.

It's puzzling why nobody (save for one) would answer. It's not like it's a bad thing to vote against one vs. for another. Just an interesting dynamic I don't recall as much from past elections.
