Shameful indeed. I am torn apart by that child who was lured into an alley while on his way to go play basketball. Done by a rival of his father, who impeded the investigation while his own child lay lifeless in the street. And, to top it off, his mom takes the funeral donations to go by some wheels.

I feel horrible for what happened to that kid, and the lack of response and recognition that followed.

Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder (R), who faced criticism earlier this year for his handling of the water crisis in Flint, could face more pushback after the apparent failure of his program requiring drug tests for welfare users.

The Guardian reported that none of the 303 people tested under the auspices of the Family Independence Program have tested positive for drugs as of the end of May.

The pilot program ends on Sept. 30 and received $300,000 in state funding.

Let's start with locking up "illegal" gun owners. Once we start enforcing our current laws we can discuss making more laws. The proposals will only reduce legal guns, which is not the problem. The Federal government has not earned the right to be trusted after the IRS scandal, the FBI bungling of the Orlando shooter investigation or the actions of the DOJ under this administration. Not willing to allow them that much power.

My guess is that you are a public sector guy. You seem to put a lot of faith in a system that has not earned it. You are likely feeding from the trough....Just a hunch.

And as we continue to go back and forth, the US is worse off on all fronts. Domestically the economy is a mess, especially for those on the bottom of the economic ladder. Race relations are at an all time low. And we just had the latest mass murder where 50 LGBT people were murdered due to their sexual preference.
