Are you prepared to pay significantly more for probably 75%+ of the things you buy? Are you willing to wait many months, if not realistically YEARS for the US to rebuild it's manufacturing base? Many tech and service jobs pay much better than manufacturing jobs also so are you also advocating for a lower living standard?

I agree we need to have a portion of highly critical good produced here, and those plants need to have contingency plans to quickly ramp up to produce more for any future crisis. Obviously there is no doubt that we need a better management system of our stockpiles of critical supplies. But isolating ourselves from the rest of the world isn't a long term solution.

While Trump was being warned by his experts as early as December that this would happen, Trump downplayed it for months and failed to take action besides prohibiting China entry. That was a good thing he did. He was right. But that addressed part of the problem. The big parts, the one about taking preventative measures, warning the rest of the country and beginning to nationalize the effort, he failed at miserably. We are all suffering.

You fail to admit this. Trump fails to admit this. Trump lies about his response daily and tries the change history. If he believed what he did was correct he would own it. But he doesn't. He says he took action that he never did. He said he had no warning. He said "who would have known"? All of those things are lies. Cultists think differently. They praise Trump for the lies and start touting them as true. Like what you're doing.
