Obama has made his contribution to the divide , more than the average person realizes.

Only a Progressive could try to blame those outside the actual groups that are responsible for their own problems. When you engage in certain behaviors , committing crimes, drug and alcohol abuse, children out of wedlock, etc., It is the fault of the participant , because if the behavior in those areas diminishes or disappears, the problems go away. Progressives see it through another lens, wherein those behaviors need to be acknowledged and remedied by using the property of others to support the failures.

You speak of millennials as if they were a collective group in lock step collectively with Progressive thinking. That may not always be the case. As young people move away from being a captive audience in many of the Liberal bastions of Higher Education , they actually have to exist in the real world. When they start to live in a world outside of " safe spaces " , sitting around wringing their hands and projecting, they get to experience the consequences of Progressives in action.

When they earn their first paycheck and see what is left in their pocket. When they are working hard, paying their loans, and buying groceries next to the person using a SNAP card and are not concerned about their budget. When they start looking at a home in a quiet safe neighborhood with good schools for their children, and Obama's HUD policies dictate who will be your next door neighbor, rather than the tried and true spirit of an American's ability to climb the ladder to achieve the best , that's when they will perhaps take notice.

Time and time again we can find instances of Progressive policies that actually add to the divide in this country. Social Justice is the rallying cry , thinking that by forcing businesses to pay $ 15.00 a hour, somehow magically makes the workers more qualified. That by giving car loans to people who can't afford the car , with a FICO of 600 , 6 or 7 year loans. That qualifies them for a fancy new car, but the hard working young person that knows that saving ( remember that word ? ) for the future and establishing an economic foundation and plan is paramount to future success. It just isn't as fashionable and isn't under the " Social Justice " umbrella.

It is too bad that Progressives, who keep reminding us constantly how smart they are , do not reinforce the real path to a happy successful life.
1. Graduate High School.
2.Don't have children out of wedlock.
3. Don't have children until you can afford to take care of them without Government assistance.

But with Progressives, guys like Bernie, they aren't worried about High School , just " free College " Even though scores of Freshman going to College need remedial help.

And where are these figures coming from? Surveys of actual students? Are you saying that teenagers are 100 % truthful, and you can believe what they tell you ?

Gates is no DNA expert. I am enough of one to know that you can't make these % calls based on DNA testing. This summary introduces you to why

Kristal Quarker-Hartsfield, the national director of African-American Initiatives at the RNC, is leaving the organization to work for Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) as his director of intergovernmental affairs. Her last day is set to be Friday, and she is the second black top staffer to depart the RNC this month.

Quarker-Hartsfield and the RNC did not return repeated requests for comment on her reasons for leaving.

Quarker-Hartsfield joins several other staffers of color who have departed the RNC recently. Orlando Watson, communications director for black media, left earlier this month. Tara Wall and Raffi Williams, son of Fox News political analyst Juan Williams, both left their press positions at the RNC late last year.

RNC Chair Reince Priebus has said that expanding the party and reaching out to groups of people who don’t usually vote Republican are priorities. After the 2012 elections, he famously released an autopsy report concluding that the GOP needed to broaden its base if it wanted to survive a changing country.

The more middle of the road people see of this the more they move away from the positions held by progressives. 1) you don't say whether or not your observations are based on personal Interactions or driving through neighborhoods with windows up and doors locked.

2) I would gently suggest that if you aren't feeling good about the interactions you are having, you might consider whether you are telegraphing your obvious condescension, scapegoating , and yes apparent hatred of people of color during your interactions. Again, as a positive, respectful, warm and friendly person, perhaps I am "mining" the available data different,y than you. Anecdotal data always subject o that so mine is likely colored with my positive direction and you with whatever your cancerous world view is
