I have been saying this for 30 years. It's called common sense. Not sure why a study was required.

Illegal and low-skilled immigration disproportionally harms the job prospects and wages of black Americans, Peter Kirsanow, a commissioner on the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, told a Senate panel Wednesday.

“Unequivocally, the wages and employment levels of black Americans are disproportionately adversely affect by illegal immigration. Particularly when it pertains to the effect on black males,” Kirsanow testified before the Senate Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest.

Kirsanow, also a partner with Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP noted that although the commission has been studying the issue of illegal immigration on black Americans and has been provided with overwhelming proof of the adverse effects, he was not testifying on behalf of the commission.

“The evidence shows that the reason for [the adverse impact] is actually pretty basic,” he said.

Black Americans, especially black males, are disproportionally concentrated in the low-skilled labor market and are disproportionately more likely to have no more than a high school diploma. Likewise illegal immigrants, disproportionately concentrated in the low skilled labor market and disproportionately more likely to have low levels of academic achievement and these two groups compete with each other in the low skilled labor market.

He continued, “The competition is often most fierce in those industries in which blacks have traditionally, historically had high concentrations of employment such as hospitality, service, construction, agriculture, and blacks very often lose out in this competition to illegal immigrants.”

Yes we know, but Hillary in one of her most recent speeches accused Trump of wanting to "..round up 11 million immigrants ..." to a cheering crowd.
As long as the media, and her vacuum brained supporters let he get away with saying that , the above information will not even be considered.
The Progressives and Hillary are have working very hard to drop the "illegal " part of " illegal immigrants. Shockingly and shamefully, they are almost there.

          http://www.salon.com/2016/03/16/our_..._over_sanders/

          - Bernie Sanders is the only Democrat not linked to an FBI investigation. If this doesn’t mean anything to you, then you’re too terrified of Trump’s rallies to realize that Clinton*could get indicted

          - Between*half to two-thirds*of all the American soldiers killed and wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan were the victims of IED blasts, and Hillary Clinton advocated sending*U.S. ground troops*back*to the Middle East last November. Republicans want another ground war, and I know very well that Hillary Clinton will give them their wish.

          - Hillary Clinton’s private server indeed experienced*hacking attempts*from various nations and*Russia-linked hackers.

          - In today’s world, Trump’s overt racism is evil, but Hillary Clinton’s reference to black youth as*“super predators,”*her 3 a. m. ad against Obama, Clinton’s willingness to accept prison lobbyist donations (after Bill Clinton apologized for mass incarceration) and her racist 2008 campaign isn’t evil; it’s just politics. The problem with Hillary supporters is that they have no concept of hypocrisy.

There are those in the media and American politics who would allow Hillary Clinton and the DNC to get away with virtually anything, without the slightest fear of how these actions might affect a general election. Thus, Debbie Wasserman Shultz, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and every other top Democratic leader can act with impunity, and expect*The Daily Banters and Beasts*of the world to defend them.

If Clinton ends up winning the nomination, then I’m writing-in Bernie’s name, and no amount of fear-mongering can influence a person who sees the DNC for what it’s become; a political machine that values power and party loyalty, without adherence to core ideals or principle.
          EXAMPLE

In an interview on*CBS This Morning, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) would not say whether Hillary Clinton should release transcripts of her speeches to the Wall Street firm Goldman Sachs. Warren dodged CBS reporter Norah O'Donnell who asked a direct "yes or no question" several times when pressed on the transcripts.

"You know your lack of an endorsement at this stage has raised some questions. Let me ask you this -- do you believe that Senator Clinton should release the transcripts of her speeches to Goldman Sachs?" O'Donnell quizzed Warren.

"Look," Warren said, "I think that our candidates are out doing what they should do in a primary. They are debating the issues."

"You're not answering my question, Senator," O'Donnell told Warren.

"What I'm doing is I'm telling you what I think should be going on right now in this election," Warren retorted.

"It's a yes or no question," O'Donnell reminded Warren. "Should she release the transcripts or not?"

"What I told you is I think the primaries are doing what they should be doing and the candidates are being tested," Warren answered.

More reasons why this election is like no other.

"Mrs. Clinton appears to have a virtual lock on the Democratic nomination. She leads Bernie Sanders with 1,561 pledged and superdelegates to his 800 (though superdelegates can defect, as Mrs. Clinton found out in 2008). In the latest WSJ/NBC News poll she beats the GOP front-runner,*Donald Trump, by 13 points.

But dampening this good news for the Clinton campaign is a sobering reality: The candidate’s base of support is shrinking, and it may not be broad enough for her to win a national election. Mrs. Clinton retains the core of her husband’s presidential constituency, doing best among moderates—but in 2016 these are a diminishing portion of a Democratic base increasingly dominated by more-liberal voters. Bill Clinton drew support in large numbers from white men, independents and young people. Mrs. Clinton struggles with those groups.

Even among the ultimate Democratic Party voting bloc—blacks—she is showing signs of erosion both in support and enthusiasm for her candidacy.

She beats him in head-to-head matchups now, but given how unpredictable Mr. Trump’s fortunes have been in the primary season, there is no telling how a general-election campaign might play out. Mr. Trump will have the advantage of a candidacy with clear themes, fueled by a deep-seated anger with Washington and party elites. By contrast, Mrs. Clinton hasn’t put forward a compelling rationale for her candidacy or a coherent message.

Whatever else one might say about Donald Trump, he offers an alluring (if vague) promise to turn Washington on its head. For better or worse—and, in this election, it’s probably for worse—Mrs. Clinton has played an integral role in building the Washington that Americans so deeply resent. If the desire for change remains the dominant theme this year, Hillary Clinton doesn’t fit the bill. Donald Trump does. For all of her advantages, this core weakness could be her undoing come November."

Your assumption and the study are flawed because they are looking at national demographics. What about states like AZ with about 4% black population and where the tough anti immigrant laws have resulted in severe labor shortages and crops left to rot in the fields.

Another reason. Of course Democrats are sure their uninformed supporters could care less which is why they stoke stuff like "Hands up. Don't shoot". And they could be right. We shall see.

"Last week, a shock troop that appeared to be Islamist conducted an attack in Tunisia. US aircraft have bombed IS positions in Libya and the Americans and other Western countries are considering the possible need for a broader intervention. Moreover, the country is dependent on oil, but the wells, pipelines and terminals are extremely vulnerable. Taken together, these are the perfect ingredients for Libya to become the Arab world's next drama."

If the Hispanics, Blacks, and young people, and liberal women turn out for Clinton. Trump simply cannot win. If he does not tone down the rhetoric and become more Presidential he will spend his entire campaign trying to prove he is worthy of the position. Watch our standing in the world fall significantly if he wins. The world is watching.

With only 10 electoral votes, Arizona is immaterial.

Meanwhile, obama's Supreme Court nominee has the right in a panic over whether they will lose the senate ove this.

Let's just see about November. I don't need a dozen ove the top posts about how the democrats are in so much trouble they are going to lose when there is no mention of FACts that third party run of conservative in election being planned, brokered convention being planned, trump and Cruz relate ing a riot on the floor if that happens, purple state senators already conceding to meetings with garland, which isn't going to help. These posts show who lacks confidence and needs to cheerleader themselves constantly.

Just like when he came into office, Obama holds out a choice that should have bipartisan support. Who's the grown-up again? Who is the polarizer?

r panic shown by discussion about lame duck confirmation if democrat winds general.mthink it's time to put them on notice bipartisanship doesn't work that way and I hope Clinton/sanders announce they will pull garland and nominate Chomsky.

Chomsky was a bit of an exaggeration but you get it.

Obama will come out of this once again as the grown up leader of th free world.

Democrats have a history , that is well documented, of obstructing Repub Justice picks for the Supreme Court. In addition they have used other techniques and options to get their way. Obama's entire two terms have been full of his end-a - rounds Congress regarding the ACA and the EPA. That's just at the top of the list. His meddling with HUD may start a new tidal wave of disruption in the housing market.

The Constitution is clear. There isn't any time frame , there aren't any added particulars to bring up. In this case it is just tough luck for the Dems...see you next time.
