The left is always doing their best to shutdown free speech.

Since I was mobbed out of my social justice community, I've found that conservatives are more kind, forgiving, and open-minded people than my old crew. I've found friendship and acceptance despite disagreement. I can't get in trouble anymore for saying so—so I'm saying so.

I recently attended the Quillette social in Toronto. Over that weekend, I sat down, ate meals, had drinks, and ran around town with the most eclectic group of people I could have ever imagined.

Some were liberals like me, but all had been unpersoned in one way or another, whether it was a result of false allegations, “heretical” thinking, or some minor unwoke gaffe. Many were conservatives who were thrilled to be a part of this new cultural movement, where ideas could be freely exchanged. It was the most extraordinary thing.

The one thing they all had in common was that they cherished the principle of free speech. Modern conservatives and exiled liberals cherish free speech more than ever because they share the experience of being silenced in the name of social justice.

"There are reasons to fear, not social justice, but the intolerant oppressiveness of some strains of social justice activism. Although we do not need to give in to fear, if one is to fight oppressors, one needs to first acknowledge their existence, and their power—and the very good reasons to fear them.

I am afraid of those who will punish others for not subscribing to a toxic and oppressive view of social justice. I am afraid, not of actual social justice, but of what some people are willing to do, and are in fact now doing, in the name of social justice.

As usual another major Con logic fail. Cons have been able to exercise their free speech by posting whatever drivel they want for the last 4,000+ pages, but somehow cartoons suddenly cross the line? Lol

No doofuses, it’s the abuse of bandwidth and spamming that’s the problem.

Cons are desperate to talk about anything other than their criminal president...

                      Dear Con,

If you would like to exercise your free speech right to post angry donkey cartoons, I have a suggestion.

Buy or use some bandwidth you have otherwise paid for or have access to.

Then you can set the ground rules for how that bandwidth is used.

See this is an indication that you just might be a Russian commie ....you don’t seem to understand property rights.

Think of it another way ....you don’t get to post political signs in my yard. Only yours.

Now let’s all try to respect our hosts here .

After Trump, the imprisonment of Kushner will be the next most satisfying thing to happen. Wonder if he’ll still have that smug self-satisfied look on his face when Bubba bends him over.

Can't help but wonder if Cartoon Con is the one posting the "Owner of TS" threads all over the place. Whoever it is complains of cyberbullying, yet they posted someone's cellphone and email on several boards. Pot meet kettle

                                Ted Lieu...

The House Judiciary Committee is starting a massive investigation into whether Donald Trump and his family and associates committed crimes or engaged in unethical misconduct. We cannot avert our eyes to the evidence plainly before us that crimes and other misconduct may have been committed by Trump and those within his orbit.

“Unlike the narrow scope of the Special Counsel’s investigation–whether there is enough evidence to charge a person with a crime related to Russian interference–the Judiciary Committee’s oversight mission is far more broad. We want to know if Executive Branch officials, including the President, committed any crimes or engaged in any unethical misconduct.

“We will hold hearings, interview witnesses, analyze documents and build a record. Our investigation will either exonerate Trump and those around him, or it won’t. We will then have a conversation with the American people on how to proceed after we conclude our investigation. I want to commend Chairman Jerry Nadler for his strong and steady leadership, and look forward to working with him on this critical investigation.
