Is it possible to make a decision and then have that decision reinforced by somebody else?
Does that mean that the person that backed up your decision gets credit for the decision? Do you really not see how twisted that logic is?
You have to remember what he just went through for the last 8 years. Nobody dared cross his dear leader, for fears of sounding racist.

So, no, personal thoughts are not primary in his bucket.

All reporting unnamed anonymous sources. As long as the media makes money selling fake news like the story Comey asked for more money before getting fired you'll just see more of the same.

If the tinfoil hat/conspiracy theory group is right, and Comey had some kind of evidence for some kind of crime, what would firing do?

He wasn't assassinated. The left seems to be treating this as if he were.

He was the director of the FBI. Do people really think he's some kind of super investigator? That he goes around investigating crimes all by himself? Keeping all his findings to himself? All his secrets leave with him when he's fired, never to see the light of day?

I'll be amazed if anything comes out of this at all.

If there's a conspiracy at all here, I think what it MOST likely is is that it's the democrats are doing this to create smoke where there's no fire. I think they know damn well that there's no crime to investigate, but they want an independent investigation so it'll drag out for three or more years, as they always do.

They can then bash trump non stop about it, and at the next election they can say that the president's under investigation.

I don't know. I just don't see Trump as the type to be conspiring with Russia to take over the world. We already know Russia meddles in our elections, as we do around the world.

NBC News' Tom Brokaw appeared on Meet The Press Daily*yesterday.

"Well, this is not the Saturday Night Massacre. I was there covering the Saturday Night Massacre. We had a criminal conspiracy in the White House, well known that we were working to find out what had gone on. Some of the president’s top aides were on the way to jail at that point. The investigation had been going on for 18 months. There was nothing that Archibald Cox did that would justify his firing in the eyes of almost everyone including Republicans on that side. It was a much different kind of situation then. And the consequences were obviously very big. At the same time, you have to remember that James Comey in the eyes of the Democrats was a very flawed director of the FBI."

You should be forced to surrender your press credentials if you ask the same question more than ten times.

Trying to imagine Brokaw, Rather, Jennings, Donaldson, etc... rolling their eyes during an interview of a government official. All of them at least made an attempt to hide their contempt for the person they were interviewing. It's about professionalism, Anderson Cooper is no pro.

Also trying to imagine any of the above ripping shots of Tequilla and getting hammered on a live broadcast. Don Lemon is no pro.

                CNN is the amateur hour.

Prior to this episode I thought he was one of the better ones out there. I certainly knew where his political leaning lie, but he managed to ask good questions without obvious bias. I'll give him a pass this time that this was a one time mistake.

James Kallstrom, a Mass native, would have to be one of them. As I read McCabe dismissed the notion that Comey no longer had the support of the rank and file of the FBI I was thinking he couldn't be talking to the same people Kallstrom speaks to. Maybe it's age related and the agents Mc Cabe is talking about are the one's Bill Gertz mentioned in speaking of the CIA - "they took political appointees, turned them into analysts, most of them come from the left-wing academic community anyway. And then they send them down to this training center".

Kim Jung Un is seeking extradition of an American involved in the alleged plot to poison him. Is there any way that we can send him Charles Schumer and Nancy Pelosi?

“Shortly after Director Comey briefed us, I tweeted that he should be transparent. I said he should tell the public what he told Senator Feinstein and me about whether the FBI is or is not investigating the President,” Grassley said.“On Tuesday, the President’s letter said that Director Comey told him he was not under investigation. Senator Feinstein and I heard nothing that contradicted the President’s statement.”

Feinstein followed up Grassley’s comments and appeared to endorse them.“Thanks very much Mr. Chairman. I very much appreciate what you said and it’s very accurate. We were briefed, and the nature of the briefing was a counterintelligence and criminal investigation that the FBI who is carrying out and more than that, I will not say either,” she said.

Ooopsie, looks like the investigation into Russian collusion during the election will be expanding to include Clinton associates. And they are connected to Paul Manafort to boot! Oh the horror!!!

"One of Washington's most powerful lobbying firms did not disclose the wide extent of its lucrative political work for a Ukrainian group tied to both onetime Trump adviser Paul Manafort and to pro-Russian politicians, new records show. The firm, the Podesta Group, said nothing in a 2012 lobbying report to Congress about at least*32 meetings, emails and other communications it had with the State Department, at a time when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was scrutinizing Ukraine's upcoming election, records show. The new disclosures shed light on the web of contacts between Russian-leaning Ukrainians, Washington lobbyists and U.S. policymakers during the Obama administration. The Podesta Group filed new, detailed lobbying disclosures in April to augment lobbying reports from 2012 to 2014 that had given little detail. The firm is run by Tony Podesta, whose brother, John, is a longtime adviser to Clinton and was chairman of her 2016 presidential campaign. John Podesta was a senior counselor to President Barack Obama in 2014 and had previously been lobbying partners with his brother."*
