NEFC Metrowest Region Falling Apart

You don’t know how many players are on your kids team?
The coach hasn’t sent out a team email or invite to a club app.
Bigger question is why would you stay? Please don’t tell me your kid likes it there that’s why.
You should have done your homework before you signed up. Before you agree to pay that’s when the club will talk to you. Once you agree to pay them for the year not manny options unless they do move your kids to another region or do something that breaches your contract.

The deterioration of the NEFC Metrowest Region continues. The number of new players brought in has continued to decline and they lost on average 2-3 players from each of their respective teams. At present, 5 coaches have left the Metrowest Region for the Fall 2021 season and the previous Director TH was demoted and replaced with a new 30 year old whiz kid former director of advertising at GPS.

The Instability within the NEFC Metrowest program is becoming an issue. Parents (and yes we are parents of current players) are not happy with the lack of communication with current NEFC staff, what is the plan if our childrens' teams do not have enough players to field a team in our age groups in Metrowest region- will we have to merge with a lower age group of players and also there has been little to no communication from NEFC Staff/Coaches in regards to a possible move into another league- it is frustrating to say the least. A lot of parents signed back on with NEFC Metrowest in Good Faith, but at present the communication/updates had been nonexistent

Not how we planned on beginning our summers- not knowing the direction of our soccer program.

No, I am a parent of a child that plays for NEFC. And, up until the last couple months ( my child has played for NEFC Metrowest for the past 5 seasons). We actually Love the program and don't want to leave it. Our child loves the friends and teammates on the team.

Why is this so hard for people to understand? We want the program to get better, our child has developed many great relationships over the years with coeaches and players.

No, Sorry... Just a parent, trust me, I have dealt with parking nightmares at Mendon when the 5:00 teams are leaving and the 6:30 teams are getting on.. I have been through the 1x weekly comnute to Marlboro Forekicks....

I have EARNED my stripes as an NEFC parent....
(Also, not just my viewpoints- the views of many paremts- there has been little to no communication by our Coaches or NEFC Staff... )

You likely won’t have any communication about teams until the season starts and if your kid is in high school that will be winter/spring. Plenty of time for them to hold more tryouts 😂

I guess it just shows you can't read. Nowhere on his linkedin under his GPS tenure does it say anything about being the director marketing or advertising.

But it's okay, reading can be hard and reading comprehension can be harder.

After all the obsession with GM and his legal issues on this forum, you would think one would remember that he was actually the director of marketing at GPS. Once he left SG and LGS didn't hire a new marketing director for GPS. However, please continue with not knowing what you're talking about and capitalizing random words in your sentences and calling yourself a 'Big Boy' to make up for your insecurities.

Consider yourselves lucky! My son’s former club never informed us of coaching changes. A different coach just showed up one day and the previous one (who swore up and down he’d be at the next game and then the next all season long) just never showed up again. Sure, he was on the field at practices but working with another team and in passing digging into the boys about their results. ZERO communication.
