Bolts parents really sad especially down south shore - their East elite, Boston Elite and South elite constantly getting beat up by smaller teams like Commonwealth but try justify their existence by quoting college recruits from their DA team which 99.5% of bolts kids dont play for. Obviously DA team with their pick of the crop are good and some make D1 but 99.5% of bolts kids are nowhere near that. You pay 3500 to get beat up by teams pay 1200 but your DA team is good. Its obvious to anyone that knows the real story.

This is so true - most Bolts players are better in photographs with expensive uniforms that on the field and are happy to subsidize their DA team - most know nothing better about how bad they are but some realize when they see the beatings after year or 2. Took me a year to get away but lot just go along with charade

A bolts team did beat the u16’s but it was a afc bolts do you people at bolts count them as club members?
I know the guy mentioned afc also in his email. They are a small club but part of bolts can you hate them or not? Would you hate CFC if it was bolts CFC?

Also would like to point out that there seems to be a lot of bolts teams in divisions lower than CFC. I will add there bolts teams in higher divisions also.

South Shore Select only provides Commonwealth their league spot and uniforms,

No shared coaches or facilities

Everything else is standalone, CFC plays at Braintree High, and practices indoors in school gyms not at the sports center or any of Selects fields.

I think that’s the reason why Braintree doesn’t succeed as much as they should in soccer players move on and focus on other sports. Or they still play soccer but it’s only seasonal.
Look at it this way all the girls and most of the boys that went on to play sports in d1 colleges played soccer and once they got to high school they chose to focus on another sport.
I’m sure if you looked at the amount of players that went on to play sports in college from Braintree is higher than most high schools.

Also how many good players go to private schools from Braintree? There are players that play college soccer from Braintree. How many towns produce d1 players on the south shore?

Not from the south shore, but my D's HS team (freshman year) had 9 kids that played D1 soccer within those 4 classes.
