Originally posted by Unregistered View PostRight. so he subs like ice hockey and wins. No thanks. Best team can be defined however you want, but what he does and sadly what FSU is starting to do as well is bad for the kids who want to develop, but gets wins for the program. If a player is not learning how and when to take risks in possession , how to pace themselves stamina wise, how to read the game in meaningful games, then they are being short changed. Of course none of that really matters because this is not about pro development, but many people seem to think it is. No coincidence that UNC are producing fewer and fewer players who seem to go on to pro success.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostAnd DC was poor without it. Zhao and Nishwonger are so dangerous they come off the bench. Its not soccer as I know it. Its becoming a matchup game where sub patterns have a huge impact. They create a false pace, idiotic pressing and dont do the kids who say they want to play at the next level any favors at all. Its led to a style where possession is almost without value. Much easier to wait for the inevitable errors.

Not sure you watched Macario on sr wnt. Not impressive.

At some point our 40 year old stars need to move aside.
Yep our USWNT lacks an identity. England,Canada heck even Brazil was playing possession in the SBelieves Cup. And they gave US a scare.
