      Brown is in
Harvard or Yale with the last spot.

Bryant, and I believe Providence and Sacred Heart still have a shot as well.

Truthfully, looks like almost every New England team is still hanging on.

        Almost...

I think CCSU has a chance, too. Looks like Northeastern, Dartmouth, Yale, URI, Holy Cross, and BC, are out.

Going into the last game of the season by my count sixteen New England programs are in, or have a chance still.

Notwithstanding the conference tournaments how many of these NE programs have a realistic chance of making the NCAA tournament?

Quinny and Maine lead their conferences. BU is second. UMass is on the bubble for RPI, but probably won’t squeeze in.

I doubt any to be completely honest. Plausibly, UMass (#49) or UConn (#63); UConn had a couple of damaging results lately so they need to really impress in the Big East tourney, but I won't hold my breath there. If Quinnipiac were to win their tourney and Fairfield (#47) is runner-up, maybe them but that's a real long shot. Truthfully at-larges are hard to come by for New England teams going forward. Not a lot of impressive RPIs this year.

QUinnipiac just lost two zip to Mount St. Mary's which would lose to most CT high school teams. Fairfield is a much better team. The conference is gawd awful and full of long ballers with zero skill. Only taking one team from this land of misfits

UMass plays pretty well. They would be a tough out on any day.

Neither do much for me; but Fairfield has a much higher RPI and still need to play each other.

To your point, I don't see whomever doesn't win the conference getting in. I just tried to leave a little teeny tiny window up for plausibility sake.

Stated another way, very likely one of the two teams above goes to the NCAA’s, and yeah, they are one and done. But to quote the legendary Eagleman, they will have gotten the National Championship experience! LOL!

One thing the BC coach needs to learn is that if you want to have a prayer of getting into the NCAA tournament, RPI is their only way. And you won’t ever get in playing 6 teams with RPI’s in the 200’s with two of those over 300.

BC 3 Cuse 1 Season over. Finished 10 of 17 in the conference. Better than dead last. New coach made a pretty good start. See you next season.

And the best part is they got to play against good teams. Who would want to play in the conference tournament when you can say you played and lost against teams who are playing in November? Living the dream!

Will next years schedule reflect their final placement in 2024 or does the ACC just randomly select teams to play based on travel. Obviously with a 17 team conference you can’t play everyone, wondering if next years schedule might include more heavyweights or if previous years results don’t matter at all.
