Is it all the staff's fault? No support from the school, lousy facilities vs other ACC schools, tough conference they probably shouldn'tbe in? Yes a strong coach can work wonders despite some shortcomings, but it doesn't entirely fall on their shoulders

If Pitt can field a competitive team, BC should be able to grab a ACC wins.

Easier to fire the staff than it is to fix the facilities or school support.

The staff took the job knowing full well the situation, so you can't go back and blame the very situation.

75%staff, 25% the rest. Plus once you have a losing record it becomes a viscous cycle. No one wants to play on a losing team, Recruits are reasonably worried the coach could get fired. Sometimes cleaning house is necessary for a reboot, get new interest

Plus that staff can't recruit their way out of a paper bag. There is enough decent talent in New England alone, and with the school itself being a draw, should have their pick of players. Instead, their backyard recruiting is awful and their roster makeup shows.

Worst group we came across at that stage. They made their own bed and need to live with their decisions. Facilities have nothing to do with it.

Wrong! Facilities have so much to do with it. You want to recruit top players in NE, then it begins with the facilities. The best players in NE if given the choice of FSU or BC will undoubtedly choose FSU if you take in the important factors of location, weather, soccer facilities. Young players will choose FSU regardless who is the coach of BC. TS parents who do not have kids who have these opportunities do not understand the mindset of these high school kids. First impressions matter and a kid who has to drive to the BC soccer facility which is off campus in a residential neighborhood and then see the locker room areas are not impressed. What it shows is that the college has little interest or support for their soccer program. Facilities have everything to do with it!

What I'm saying is if the staff is ignoring local talent, it never even gets to the facilities stage.

I used to live down there. Either is miserable. I’d sooner swim with the sharks. That is why their youth teams play soccer in the winter there.

                              None, currently.

                              What's your point?

You are missing the point. FSU and other Deep South teams have miserable weather in Aug/Sep but still attract great players from all over the world. Enough with the weather excuse.
