I don't have to embrace a viewpoint that is not based in public health advice based on scientific research. How is that a responsible position for me to take. Even if I ignore the loss and pain suffered by my own family.... there are many other families out there to consider.

And it is not just loss of loved ones....we have lost so much...huge economic setbacks, crushed economic sectors, children not receiving proper educations, not involved in sports as they should be, and it goes on. We must defeat this virus to start to battle back from the losses.

I fail to see how ignoring scientific expertise about how to rid ourselves of this virus should be embraced. The opposite is how to fight this virus.

Just want to be clear on what you are saying. If its proven by science and is widely accepted public health guidance, you support forcing people's behavior. So you refuse to accept people that eat donuts? drink Alcohol? And think we should shut down steakhouses and force fatties to go for walks and do pushups?

I am not sure I follow the analogy. Infectious diseases like covid spread at exponential rates unlike eating donuts.

Nor does someone smoking 2 packs a day UNLESS they're smoking next to me. Covid does. We have rules against the latter two public health issues. It's out of the club's hands at this point. This is a microcosm of the amount of travelling going on and goes way beyond soccer.

Start rolling out the fencing and armed guards at the border. Each offender needs to be marked at the minimum; gathered up and held in camps is preferred.

88% of people wear masks. why haven't the non mask wearers gotten covid yet? and out of the 88% why are they still getting it in peak numbers if masks work? They obviously don't. We are seeing that we are shutting down the economy and it is still bad. whereas in Florida they never really shut down. Yes they still have covid but it isn't much different between California, New York that have shut down. Protect the vulnerable but everyone else should go on living their lives as normal as possible.
