Plenty of closer options than OW - play ECLR, EDP, NPL, whatever. Lots of options for players at that level without long drives.

The poor select girls who play GA and…. Impact when select wants to win at Impact. Thats alot!! Of traveling for those poor girls. NY/NJ every weekend. Good luck with that.

Tough year for Stars White. Now what?

What do you mean? Did they have a winning season or something? White is not the national brand, blue is. White can never do well. It would go against the business model.

I’m thinking Surf has had a big effect on the talent flow. Geographically much closer for a lot of families. There’s more or less a team of kids that could be Stars ECNL if not for Surf.

White 2007 was 5-10-1, -11, 6th place of 9, that's a good bit better, considering the competition.

As the consolidation continues, and players move into HS, the talent gap between White and blue will narrow. However, I don't believe the club will ever be excited for a White team to out perform a blue team in any age group. That's why I think blue is the brand. I want to be wrong.

Or White may not improve, the Surf Navy kids may stay at Surf.

The ulittle era is over, Surf coach/player. For better or worse the "baddest little team" competitions are over. Surf, Aztec, NEFC, Blue would have some great games to settle supremacy but it's over-- they go their different ways and the game now is about exposure and individual development-- rah rah is for HS teams. Select 08 is where it’s at. GA team has nothing on the NPL team. The two should probably swap leagues.

it’s not about rah rah, so let’s get back to the facts, which you’re trying to avoid.

If your kid is not on Blue, they are not getting exposure.

Or individual development, with a team where the good forwards and keepers have been stripped out for Blue.

And losing nearly all the games by multiple goals (-38) is not a good development environment.
