Wrong again detective valiant. Just confirmed. Was told 2 played occasionally and 1 played a few. How is their 08 team failed or the 07 team failed. Wow , you really hate them. Do you just use this as a bashing site ?

Nope, you said when “they played you”. Now you’re saying you were told. Which was it? Like I said, you are 09 parent. Maybe I do have detective skills because I can see that you’re changing your story. I’m just saying that the club has a hard time developing a team because they focus on certain players and in the end, it doesn’t help the team. Take your 09 as an example. Great player, probably one of the most dominant in her age group. But didn’t her 09 team have a game that day which she skipped to play for the 07s? How does that help either team in the end? There are no other 07s in the club that could make the precious GA team? Not saying the 08 and 07 teams are failures, but the club failed at developing the team aspect.

Why do you all care about rankings. Doesn’t matter. It’s all fluid. Just worry about your kids development not if they are on the top team. Being on a top team (ranked) doesn’t make your kid a top athlete.

Practicing with and playing against the best players they can will do more for their development than just about anything else. Always helpful to see/hear where the top players are.

If that team ranks #1 with her, but can’t win a game without her, then that ranking does nothing to tell me the quality of the rest of the players. So who exactly would my kid be practicing with if she was part of that team. Not ‘the best players’ as you say above.

I think that everything gets skewed here. Those peacocking about how much Select sucks are likely on here representing one of those other "top-ranked" teams. It's all relative. Those terrible players on Select are still all better than the even the best players on the Impact NPL/NEP NPL/DPL/ECNL Regional teams for example.

How many dispensaries have they opened up in Weymouth? You may want to tell LL to ease up on the recruiting and guest invites if she already has all better players Aztec does.

Fully agree. Once you step out of ECNL and GA, the drop off is enormous. There may be a nice player here or there but in the aggregate, it is a huge divide. Im sure everyone is still having fun, which makes it worthwhile. Certainly not knocking kids who are out being active with friends, but the objective quality gap is there nonetheless.
