Probably true. Smaller elite club trains kids up and they leave for ECNL dreams. Rinse and repeat year to year. Still the best option north of Boston for the money. Long gone are the days of Aztec bashing.

Long gone? I mean who even bothers to talk about Aztec …They are a pawn of SSS. Aztec runs Impact NPL for a reason.

Aztec 08s, Stars 07s and 02/03, Bolts boys 06, Bayside boys 04-- this was not the same as the ECNL finals but with all the crapping on MA/New England soccer on TS I am surprised how many area teams won.

Tale as old as time. By the time HS rolls around better players have left for the better leagues/clubs. Same with the boys. For some of these middle school teams all it takes is just a few players leaving for greatness to turn to mediocrity

They are way way better than Aztecs. Not to burst Aztecs bubble but….. deep down inside they know they didn't beat any good teams to win.

You don’t even know what tournament is being talked about, do you? Taunton? They were in Colorado? This comment was about MA/NE region, not Aztec vs. Stars Blue. Aztec beat Cleveland ECNL in semis, for example. But the point was not about them but all the MA teams who, to hear TS tell it, can’t compete nationally. Stars Blue lost in PK’s to eventual ECNL finalists— same point.

Aztec was the top 08 team in New England by far. Get over it. Its ok.

So based on 1 game you say Aztecs is the best. Aztec’s dad how many times did Aztecs play select? How many times did Aztecs beat select???? 0

Select went 2-0-1 against Aztecs so based on your thought process select should be the best team in 08’s. Aztecs had 3 chances to beat select and….. they DID NOT win once!!! Wel done Aztecs 0-2-1 doesnt put u #1.
