Its kind of strange that GA let these clubs play in a GA tournament when all are bolting the sec the playoff is over.

Why shouldn't they? Families and clubs paid for this season in full. Not letting top teams compete only reminds everyone the clubs are leaving, but it also looks petty and childish. It also would have greatly lowered the competitive level of the event.

It's no different then when you know players are leaving a team - some awkward uncomfortable moments but you just deal with it.

so this comment is fake. Looking at the GA teams that are bolting tomorrow to greener pasteurs there are very FEW other GA teams around to stay at. It would literally be IMPOSSIBLE for GA players NOT to go with their teams to ECNL and find another closer GA team. ?????????????

Also, so you are telling us that if Select 08's got into ECNL today some would turn down ECNL and go play GA at NEFC. Now that is funny!! hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahha

Yes I too have multiple conversations with people I don't know at soccer events - enough to be representative, like survey or something!

I'm sure a few families would prefer to stay GAL, but especially once in the HS ages it's 1) tough to move 2) hard to argue about the competitive level being stronger in ECNL/ better college prep. But he good thing about the free market is the consumer has choices.

I can only speak for NEFC, and not select, but i can 100% guarantee if NEFC gets into ECNL NOT 1 girl on any top NEFC team goes over to select to continue playing GA.

NEFC dad I wouldn't be SO cocky! Lou Fusz actually dominated Select the other day. A very late Select goal foiled the shutout for LF. They dominated Select from the start of the game right to the end. Outshot and outplayed Select the entire game. Should be a better game than you think. Good luck! Hoping NEFC wins it all!
