I think you can put the Surf keeper and both Scorpions keepers between Blue and Select. Also would put NEFC and Aztecs keepers ahead of granddad‘s favorite from Select while we’re at it.

Not even close between select goalie and scorpions goalie. My d’s team has played against both teams this year and i remember that the select goalie is alot better. OP list seems right.

Seems to me that if the Select keeper was as good as this one poster is (repeatedly) saying, she would have been chosen for the GA Northeast Talent ID clinic that was announced today. Instead the Seacoast and Oakwood keepers were chosen and neither are anything special.

Shutouts are pretty easy when your opponent doesn't get a shot on goal.

(shaking head). Only an imbecile would judge U13 keepers by the number of goals given up without taking into consideration (1) strength of team and (2) strength of schedule.

In this scenario, Scorpions were pretty terrible this year in a very strong league (no Cedar Stars or NYSC to be found) and Select was the consistently strong team it has always been in a top-heavy league.

I was chalking this whole thing up to this being a troll job rather than the Select goalie's dad (or granddad) or coach but citing an unpublished score from a "Friendly" seems to indicate that whoever is aggressively trying to pump up the reputation of this poor girl has skin in the game. Let your daughter work on her game in peace.

And making judgements about keepers based on just a score is low even for someone willing to belittle middle schoolers.
