Scorps will be improved, but the ECNL is a tough league, and comparisons to in-state GA/NPL teams don't really tell you much. Don't think the likes of SUSA, World Class and CFC are standing still... talent consolidation is happening everywhere. I'd expect them to move out of the cellar and pass stars white (limited by B team status) and FSA (mess of a program) but anywhere past that is pretty iffy. Even mid-table teams in the ECNL once you hit U-14 and beyond are very very good.

The 2008 Stars White team is being completely over hauled. Given the 04 06 and 07 White teams have been incredibly successful I wouldn't bet against them next year.

What is a better bet? GA, DPL or Impact? which will fold first? If GA folds will Impact absorb those teams and become a better league?

And someone explain how SSS 3rd team beat a team their 2nd team lost to. Why is the 3rd team better than the 2nd?

I just want to see you Baysiders in Lancaster tomorrow for tryouts. If you want a path in a direction other than Chad Brown for your youngsters, come to where the air is crisp. You can still see PB on Memorial day. You want to tall about embarrassing? Joy stick controllers aren't the norm.

List guy here. After this weekends tournaments there has been alot of team movement in the 08 division. Based on the past month here is the official team rankings for the 2008 going into the fall.

1. Stars Blue ECNL
2. New England Surf
3. NEFC GA
4. Aztecs
5. Scorpions ECNL
6. Stars White ECNL
7. South Shore Select GA

Within 2 years this 2008 list will be 1,2,3 ECNL teams and then the rest. Hands down. It wont even be debatable. Expect mass exodus from NEFC and select next year if this years 07’s for both clubs are any indication.

I agree both NEFC and SSS 08's will be trapped next year with nowhere to go. 6 girls from NEFC and 3 from SSS left their 07 teams. One would imagine that the 08's have seen this clearly and talks have already begun as GA begins to fade.

This is specifically a 2008 thread. If you have a problem with select losing please start a 20th thread on how select teams are losing this year. As far as select 08 GA they are getting ready to try and win the National GA tournament in California in a few weeks. So keep the bashing of this team at a minimum and check back in on June 22nd to see how well the select 08's did in the GA playoffs. I have a feeling they will surprise alot of haters and make it real far in their playoffs. A National Championship sounds real good!

🤣🤣🤣🤣 clearly you've not been to many national events. Very few teams from the region ever do well. In fact some have ugly beat downs.
Being a so called top team in a weak region doesn't make you a top team.
