So non-MLS clubs are going to pay for it all, and maybe in the future the girls will be able to help pay for the MLS Academy programs too. The MLS know that many clubs will be willing to pay whatever the cost is to play in the most "elite" league. US Soccer gets no cut, and the MLS makes the money to fund what they need. So glad this BS is wrapping up for mine.... USSF, MSL, and DA have really pissed down the drain billions of dollars and for what? A few women’s World Cup that nobody cares about other than during World Cup years? MLS, WSL, and college soccer (that unwatchable because it’s “poor quality”). They will keep rearranging the deck chairs and parents will keep shelling out money for no reason. Too bad soccer could not be done at the local/regional level but that Genie is out of the bottle. There is an opportunity because USSF just gave a lot of parents and players a big middle finger.
