You think that will be it? This time of year families keep their intentions very close to the vest, with good reason.

Also, an adult calling out a kid on an anonymous forum is incredibly low. Do you think no one at the club can figure out who you are discussing? Even if they're a bad teammate you are a terrible team parent.

BIG loss if you ask me. If she was nobody they wouldn't come here and spill venom. Down spiraling is making people nervous. The coach and control freak mom on the board are desperately patching holes on a sinking ship.

That's true, could even be the club trashing her. Real scuzzy clubs will even hold PT from players that will be leaving, even though they contracted to train and play for this entire season. No doubt there will be other defections but families are smart enough to not say a thing. Reality is not every wants DA just from an overall fit standpoint, but also now that GDA in the NE is faltering.

Faltering? It's just getting started. It's not even two years old.

Just started but NYFC, Stars, and PDA are out. And what could possibly make DA in this area relevant if good teams are not part of it? Not bashing but it is not like it has room or trend to grow. The opposite looks like a sure thing.

Again, it's not even two years old.

And again perhaps it will never be 5

It definitely won't ever make 5. After this coming year they'll re-package/re-brand as "new and improved" but the only way it survives is if they cut at least 1/3 of the current clubs.

                    Maybe, maybe not.

But, with the restructuring and new plans they are showing they are flexible in making changes. Time will tell, but for those who cannot logistically get into the "other" league this is a good step.

Enjoy your day bashing DA as always.

"flexible to make changes" lol. It's called trying to save a sinking ship. The only way to stay afloat is to jettison half the weight. Losing good clubs and replacing them with weak ones is merely treading water.

Blah, blah, blah, boo hoo, DA is the victim, we are fine, lahlahlah.

Nobody is bashing anything. When you come to this already watery landscape and create this type of commotion without a clear plan, people have right to criticize, question and yes bashing it when necessary.
Honestly: what of good did birth year and GDA bring to 98% of girls playing soccer? Two US soccer inventions with absolutely zero improvement outcome. Don't give me the cr@p of it is only 2 year old.

Yes they have proven their ineptitude multiple times. People are frustrated. Much of it is venting rather than pure "bashing" and the bashing is largely fact based.

The purpose of GDA is to find the diamonds in the rough for the full National team. That has always been their goal. US Soccer has just recently told the world that they are going to fight the US Women's team on their hope for equal pay. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/us-socc...060521786.html

Let’s just take that in. A Month before you want these women to go out and prove to the World that US Women’s soccer is the best, you tell them you’re still not good enough for equal pay. Not what I want my daughter thinking. No way she would ever play in a league who does not value women

It's "a goal", not "the goal". It's not anything 99.9999999% of DA players concern themselves with.

And US soccer doesn't concern with 99.9999999% of DA players.
