Heard Liz did not consult parents and did this to satisfy her NT players at the expense of all other players that want to play Locally in NPL and HS. Several players already testing the water and heard a few have already left. Bet Liz is telling them if they don’t sign up for next year they will not be able to play the rest of this year. Talk about building a culture on fear. That is what she does even though she tries to sell it as building a family and strong young women. You will see how much that is BS in the coming weeks/months.

Lot of NEFC & SSS kids looking for Scorpions ECNL spots. They aren’t really at “dentist appointments.”

The lack of local in-state competition, the travel, getting waivers for HS play, and training schedule are turning many off. SSS parents should be carefully considering what they are getting into.
Two years from now each top team will be renamed from DA to WC “world class.” Players will travel internationally by private jet. The fees will increase 1200% and the soccer will still be the same as it’s ever been.

Well it’s only because of those NT players that those ages progressed so far anyways.

Lots of proms last week, this week, and next week. Was surprised at how many are happening in school nights and so early in the year. Kids these days.

Cameron : Liz. This is George Peterson.
Liz : How are you today, sir?
Cameron : Well, we've had a bit of bad luck this morning as you may have heard.
Liz : Yeah I heard, and man, I'm all broken up, boy, what a blow.
Cameron : Yeah. Yeah. Well, uh, it's been a tough morning and we got a lot of family business to take care of, so if you wouldn't mind excusing Sloane, I'd appreciate it.
Liz : Uh, yeah, sure, no I'd be happy to, yeah you, uh, you you just produce a corpse, and uh, I'll release Sloane. I wanna see this dead grandmother first hand.

Do you really think the Stars went into it not knowing what was involved? Really? Does that sound like the Stars to you? They of any club knew well what they were doing.

Makes too much sense financially for them to double-down on ECNL.

If true then the club deserves to go belly up. You can't make decisions for entire teams because of a few players. Those players will be gone soon enough (and there aren't relaly any others in the pipeline) but the damage done to the club and its reputation will be permanent.

If the NT players wanted GDA so much they could easily finds spots elsewhere. Selfish of them to ask for it (if the didl it's TS so I know not all is truthful).

It will hold together for another year or two, but continually diminished until it's basically SoCal and TX. Both could form their own leagues on their own without DA (and SoCal was rumored to be considering it). If the NE region makes it past next year that would be miraculous.

Name a youth soccer league that has folded. It never happens. They limp on and on and on.

Can anybody from SSS confirm what Liz told parents about doing DA. How it will work and when do players have to commit.

You are guaranteed a spot on the team and will get a $100 discount if you pay full amount for next year by March 1st, no refunds.

Sounds about right. But you left off if you don’t, you will not play on your current team until you sign up. Also if you are seen at another clubs tryout you are banned from the club forever because you went against the family.
