I'll presume you haven't seen St. John's prep play yet because they have taken a big step backward. Have good athlete's but early on are playing very average soccer? Do they have a new coach?

No, SJP has the same head coach who has been there for years. SJP leading returning scorer from last season dealing with a hamstring injury. They're struggling to score without him.

SJP beat Masco 2-1 @ Masco seems like they are doing just fine

Maybe an off day for SJP against SJS

...which followed another 'off day' vs. Xavier on Saturday?

No. They simply don't look well trained.

              They haven't played Xaverian?

I was a bit surprised by the LS/CC score.

Newton North appears to be back, finally.

North Andover with a huge win might be CC's biggest competition in D-2 north.

CC is loaded this year, with a talented senior class leading the way. They could be the best team in the state this year, regardless of division.

They played Xavier. School from Ct. Not Xaverian.

No surprise CC won, but 5-2 was unexpected. CC returns most of their core players from last year's championship team.

Not a big deal, but NN actually beat Brookline 2 to 0. The first was a legitimate, solid goal by the striker on a nice cut back, quick shot. The second was a PK.

Not sure I'd have SJP in there right now. 2-2 and still trying to find the right rotations. One of their top players injured. Newton North looking stronger. 3-0 with wins over Brookline, Framingham & Walpole.
