    Stats

Stats are all right on the site. Pretty easy to look and see who is playing. My question is what ever happpened to the 25% rule Playing games? How do they get away with this?

I watched the 18's play, my son playing against them. They certainly are well coached and playing the right way, but just a lack of talent across the board. They played hard till the end and never quit despite being down a lot of goals. Not sure what other options the players have up in that region but seems like they are doing the best with what they have. On the other side they all still can be seen by coaches at the showcases. Just a fair observation.

The 25% rule is starts only, not actual PT. It also is for the entire year, so being 4 weeks in isn't relevant

DAP as a system is simply not working.

Couldn't possibly be more WRONG. My son played all the year groups, seen by 100 plus coaches through all the showcases and games, now committed to top school. Exactly how it is supposed to work. Is it perfect? No way. They are trying to improve it and it will keep getting better and will keep evolving. The D1 coaches I spoke to won't even wast their time at a high school game. Without question the best way to be seen if you are a player at that level.

Your responseis exactly the issue. DA isn't for placing kids on college rosters. It's supposed to be about improving the level of US soccer, developing stronger NT players and pro players. Yet most players are there to improve their odds of college placement. Until the goals of both sides are aligned we'll keep spinning our wheels in the sand, getting nowhere

Most players are there because they want to play at the highest level possible whether that's college , MLS , NT, etc . You just answered your own question . Again it's not perfect. I'm sure you have the solution though. It's amazing the arrogance of parents on this web site.

It isn't helping soccer. That was the other poster's point and I agree with him

Feel free to fix it after my son signs his NLI.
