Right now the system 100% favors the incumbent school. This article reflects a proposed (not yet approved) step forward. I would go further. But I would stop prior to a situation where coaches are running around trying to steal players from other teams. Yes it does which I think is why you won't see much else change beyond allowing it for these specific situations. It easily could turn into a free for all without limits. I also think it's a bad idea to in with a "well I can always transfer" attitude. Put a few restrictions on it so that choices are made more carefully. Things happen outside of player control they should be cut some slack. Scandals have happened across the spectrum of college sports, coaches leave or get fired...imagine anyone on Michigan State's gymnastics program right now?Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

My kids aren’t in college yet, but I’ve followed this thread for a few years. There is very little peacocking (the ones that do are obvious), and why isn’t making a college team an accomplishment? I don’t get your mentality. It’s not like making a club team. It’s a much smaller pool.
