OP here. You are the targets for these threads, HS underclassmen. The seniors can enjoy or be annoyed they are listed here, but their decisions are made.

I've followed them for the same reasons. Much appreciated!

Congrats to the new addition heading to Army. At least we know he's not paying for college. Well done! Thank you in advance for your service.

I have to say it's been awesome following these threads for the past 3-4 years. I only found out about this site because one of my friends showed me my name one of these lists. The person who runs this and keeps track of the playing time and all that is doing a great service to people who are looking to play college soccer. Aside from that, I think it's cool to know where players you have played with or against throughout club and high school are going to the next level. I'm at the point where I don't recognize many if any of these names because I was a high school senior when these kids were still in middle school, but I still like seeing where kids are going to see how much better/worse/same Massachusetts players are getting.

Regarding all the D1/2/3 banter... Most players in college know that there are ballers at all 3 levels and there are players who honestly aren't good enough at every level as well, so really the division is nothing more than a label, not an indicator of level of play for individuals. Go where you feel valued as a player and a person, and of course, can be afforded.

Have you noticed how many of the names on these lists actually never play at the respective schools?

Are you referring to High Schools? Plenty of movement between club, DAP and High School. That is common over four years.

I'm guessing he means in college. Many players on these lists don't play or aren't even in rosters. The op looks at this issue once each class starts college to see how they're doing.

That's why this is such a great thread. Players and parents do not realize how hard it is to play in college and those that play for four years regardless of Div 1,2,3 are the exception. Even good players, starters quit for many reasons.

or get cut or injured. Your job is always at risk in college sports, especially at the D1 level. It's important that players and families understand the reality of not playing all four years when going through the recruiting process. If you can't see yourself at a school without the soccer then you're probably at the wrong school. Always pick the schools your interested in first, THEN soccer.

Dumbest advice ever. Everyone should think of a their plan B this comment reminds me of the kid in the video of the Millennial job interview that's gone viral. Taking a job playing soccer without the commitment to put a 100% into doing that job is just a recipe for disaster.

Revs with their annual annoucement of college commitments. Only 3 MA players, all already listed. Seems to some debate whether one still plays there.
