The OP excluded those 2007 when they commented about the lack of showcases “ IN THEIR LAST CLUB SEASON. “

Just another reason why birth year was a terrible idea.

Unless you have a 2007 you are forbidden from commenting on it. BC Mom has set the rules.

            I have a nice 2007. In fact,
In general, 2007 was a good year for the wine world.

For France and much of Europe, conditions were mostly defined by a dull spring punctuated by an unseasonably sizzling April followed by a drab summer. For France, this topsy-turvy growing season made life difficult for Bordeaux, whose resulting wines were mostly average, brightened only by a few gems. Sauternes, on the other hand, was sublime with the damp conditions perfect for botrytis. Burgundy and Beaujolais had a cooler than average growing season, but some elegant, aromatic wines were made. It was a reasonably good vintage for Champagne and the Loire and an excellent one for both the Rhône Valley and Alsace.

Outside of France, Spain had a good year and Italy's was excellent. Both Germany and Austria enjoyed brilliant, at points, legendary vintages. Port had a spectacular vintage often considered legendary and for Tokaj, the quality was also considered exceptionally good.

In the New World, the year was mostly very good with California producing some excellent reds. Australia struggled a little more with extreme drought and dicey bouts of frost, whereas New Zealand enjoyed one of its best vintages in years, as did South Africa. Both Argentina and Chile also had brilliant vintages producing a range of lovely fresh wines.

Despite some odd weather, the 2007 vintage was largely a success throughout the wine world – with the exception of dry Bordeaux. There should be a wide range of wines, particularly reds, from various regions around the world still drinking well now with the best likely to cellar for some years more. The best examples of whites may also still be drinking well although most will, in all likelihood, be coming to the end of their life. However, there should be plenty of glorious examples of both fortified and stickies drinking marvellously now and for years to come.

Remember when Kevin’s team tried to save time by shortening words? I just realized while watching Product Recall that Michael’s team did the exact same thing.. I've never noticed it before. As of 2023, the Northeast Soccer League (NSL) appears to still be operational, despite the issues with their website. The league continues to organize soccer seasons throughout the year, including Fall, Winter (Futsal), and Spring seasons, catering to age groups from U9 to U19. The contact information for the president and the executive director is available, indicating ongoing administrative activities. This suggests that the NSL remains active in organizing youth soccer competitions and events in the region, even though their website is currently inaccessible to talentless hack children.

Is there a reason for carrying on with this nonsense?

Nope. NEFC started as the best team on this thread and Aztec finished as the best team on this thread. That’s a wrap.
