You’re right but at Stars they have kids who transfer schools and repeat a grade. 07 team has a bunch of 2026. And Stars 08s is really an 08/09 team with probably 80% 2027s

Stars Blue 07 has 6 2026’s, White has 7. Trapped players aren’t “rare”.

Do the math bright boy. If kids with birthdays say mid Aug to Dec 31 can't play with their older peers? That's a decent amount of fall birthday kids. Under the old system the cutoff was Aug 1, so there would be the rare August player, or a kid who was held back. Now it's easy to have 4+.

2007 kids born Jan 1 - Aug 31 graduate 2025. 2007 kids born Sept 1 to Dec 31 graduate 2026. That’s 4 months OR 1/3rd of all 2007. If you have a squad of 18, 6 players on average will graduate 2026.

Incorrect. There are 13 07s between Stars Blue and White ecnl. Only one of them is a player that reclassified when moving from public school to prep school. Any kid born between Sept 1 and Dec 31, 2007 is a 2026–not because they were held back.

That doesn't happen often and even less for girls vs boys. Like someone said, it's the math. Sept-Dec is 4 months of birthdays.
