The same sites and social media platforms saying "don't get too caught up in the June 15th craziness" are the same ones who generate that exact insanity. The entire thing is anxiety-driving by design, and its just another reason why sports is very tough on kids.

Of course it's always important to re-evaluate targets as things move ahead, but don't let her get down because she didn't get calls.

As a reminder: coaches reach out to their top prospects quickly. Some of those prospects will take a pass right away or a few weeks or even months from now. The coach may decide there's not a fit. Coaches will keep working down their lists until they have the slots filled they had opened. Does it really matter if your kid was #9 or 10 orn the list if 3 players in group #1-8 didn't work out? No. They still got an offer.
If you're really worried your D didn't target well then take another look and talk to the coach/club. If you're all confident then breathe. More importantly tell your kid to breathe. Every player on her roster will get recruited at different times. It's a function of how desired each player is, how good their targeting was, and program level.

6/15/23, when the Girls 2007 thread finally got onto its Viking boat and started floating off TS and into the sea with the 2006-1999 parents.

Do you think parents who are weighing offers with kids are going to run to TS directly to share the news? You are insane. They will and should play cards close to the vest.

If you don’t think the group who spends half their life using their teen daughters soccer team as the ruler to measure their d1cks wouldn’t be the first people posting about the 50 calls they got yesterday…..lol.

Keep calm those who were quiet yesterday. My kid's school typically contacts 50+ people on the first day and their recruiting class is usually 5-6 first years (and a couple transfers). Maybe get a few bites, some discussions start. Over the next few months, the highly sought after recruits will go on visits and have discussions and start to weed through offers. Once that dust settles, schools start to look at their secondary list. Those kids could be ones they didn't consider initially, or they could be ones that "found" later (this happened with my kid). Wasn't high on their list, due to some 'outside' factors. However, once they got in touch and watched her, things moved really fast.
It's great to have been in that position, but know it's not the end of the world by a long shot. Stay in touch with them, and consider expanding to other programs. Possibly, you didn't target correctly. Also possible, you are in a secondary category and things will end up more than OK (again, where we ended up).
Don't compare yourself to other players and other timelines. Run YOUR race, you are competing against yourself to become the best, most desirable player that YOU can be. My kid was ignored by some really crappy teams, and some really great ones. She got offers from really great ones, and some decent ones. Coaches have their own likes and dislikes and not everyone views a player in the same way on the same timetable. Sure, it's a bit of a reality slap if you want to think about it that way; or just now it's a day that has come and gone, and you need to stay after it.

The best thing you could have done was prepare to NOT get any communications and then if you did, wonderful surprise. It really is much less than people think, but the entire industry, from the youth clubs through the college coaches are incentivized to make 6/15 appear to be a big huge thing. It is how clubs drive their recrtuitment and fees and it is how the colleges have been able to dupe younger and younger kids to spend $200 a pop at ID events. Knowing many kids who have been recruited, its clear that it rarely happens that whatever does/doesnt occur on June 15th is a factor, but that won't stop "College Soccer Truth" type social media outfits from hyping things up, because that is their business.
