I don’t understand why people talk about Select so much on this board. If we are getting nostalgic, I’d much rather talk about Spirit of Liverpool’s teams from back when. Played some really nice soccer and had great battles against NEFC.

Aztec and Surf replace Seacoast/Select. Aztec has beaten White and Select this past year. Stars White Regional is actually made up mostly of last years Blue Regional, coach switched to White side.
Foley would still get his team to finish 6th. It's what he does best.

The only player that joined at this time was from SPOL. The SPOL chest thumping stopped at this time, too, accompanied by an increase in the Stars Blue cheerleading. It’s not hard to connect the dots.

The 2007 SPOL parents are the absolute worst ones we dealt with last season. Harassed a girl on our team until she was in tears. Not my kid, but i was horrified watching and wished her parents called them out because it was that bad. Comments about her size etc. A 14 year old just playing a game. Can’t believe this team was ever worth discussing.

The post was from November 2019. If you’ve followed this thread closely or Blue over the past several years, you know the player. Dad has been obnoxious since they were in Huggies. I remember him jumping up and down when SPOL tied NEFC when they were playing 7v7.
