I’m not sure why Stars and NEFC are obsessed with Select? You two both feel your clubs are so superior to SSS. So why not just NEFC Duke it out in the cock fights. Select parents aren’t even on here anymore. Just fake Stars dads pretending they are SSS parent to stir the pot. Select isn’t trying to be Stars, they aren’t regretting an opportunity to be in the ECNL league. That is NEFC. They are chest pounding to tell Stars they are just as good. Deep anger between two clubs due to close proximity to one another and Stars being part of the currently better league due to more exposure on national level. So I ask why the constant going after SSS, when those parents haven’t been on here in a long time. I’m a Stars parent. We know Select has very solid talent and our ECNL teams every year gain a few Select and Stars players. We welcome those families. Good people. We notice Select families stay in their lane they are not trying to claim GA is better or Select better. It seems the issue is NEFC vs Stars.

NEFC Central Elite Red
SSS U11 AP

Will FC Boston, FC Stars, Aztec or Valeo have teams who can keep pace with the top four?
First action for these teams will likely be at FC Stars Labor Day tournament with the NEP season starting the week thereafter.
Who ya got?

So the question is overall is it time and money well spent, or not? Most of us have our doubts. Hopefully everybody thinks about that each year, as renewal time comes around.
The critical question is, what are the players goals, and is the club the best way to get them there? Those goals may very well not include college soccer.

Of course Select and NEFC being part of GA and also top 4 clubs in New England will have travel. If travel costs are too much for your family then you need to look into club scholarships. If the amount of playing and practices are too much go to a third team. Top two teams at any club will practice 3 x a week spring and fall, 2x a week winter. They will go to at least 2 local tournaments per season and likely one out of state. If they are on a higher team games will be further away. That’s how it is.
