ECNL standings should be pretty easy to predict.

Top 3 will be CFC, Stars Blue & SUSA in whatever order.
4th & 5th will be World Class & Scorpions
6th & 7th PDA & Stars B teams (White)
Bottom of the table (8th & 9th) East Meadow & FSA

But don’t kid yourself, there will be upsets along the way. Most of these teams are capable of beating each other any given weekend.

Last year 07's beat WC also. At least at home, away game was a debacle.

Problem with these things is no one knows who was or was not playing and any of these teams changes immensely if they add just one or two players. FC Stars Blue was atrocious first half of last year and then suddenly was much better mid-year. Any of these teams adds 2 top players and things can really change. This isnt like professional where you know what contract situations are. These "preductions" for youth sports are always sketchy.

I will say I admire the effort to blow so hard on these dying embers, now we're trying to antagonize NY and CT teams just to find some way to keep the fire going.

It's not in the club's interest to tell you this, so take it from an Internet rando-- literally no one playing or coaching at the senior level forward is still caring about scores, standings, or power rankings beyond individual exposure and brand-building. There is no 9th grader seriously playing who will have a college offer drastically change based on their team's wins. This is all just all-star playing from here on in, despite what a club or league's social media is trying to have you believe.

I hope you didn't miss the enjoyment by getting wrapped up in the wrong thing.

Hi 2010 Dad,

Keep holding on tight to that sinking GA ship. Make sure you buy into that “the team is staying together” sideline talk. Then, when the top few players on your kid’s team bolt for ECNL, you can come back to your TS thread and relive the memories. (Unless your kid is at Seacoast—those kids usually get offered ECNLR spots).

SSS is in 3rd and NEFC is in 5th, but both will finish at the top. It is early, but great start for SSS!

FC Stars Blue might be the best team but its all very still early. Its a good win vs WC but besides them they still only played FSA and Scorpions. Will be interesting to see how Stars Blue does vs Susa and CFC. Most likely its Stars Blue top, then cfc and susa/wc (played once to draw) fighting for 3rd.

So you have not played SUSA or CFC but you are already winning the division? lol.
