Damn! Stars should start calling their team instead

It took 1021 pages, but we finally found the baddest little team in the land.

Solar is the defending ECNL national champions. They play in probably the toughest U15 ECNL conference in the country (and also play other ECNL division leaders at the showcases) and are 19-0-0- with a 99-6 goal difference. I'd say they are pretty decent.

U15 is still full of political stuff, which isn't to say that the players going are not very good but the fact remains that there are a few things about the selections that don't make the most sense. In the end, who cares.

I realize that my kid would not be on the national team but i do know there are kids being pushed that are not "the best" players. There absolutely is still a lot of politics involved, which is to be expected but is unfortunate for some of those kids who really should be there.

Not the OP. But the kids/families have got to chase after this. Its not as if there are thousands of USSF scouts looking to find the next Mia Hamm. USSF is lazy.

You could make this case with any YNT. Differences are razor thin at that level, the difference could be the NT coach’s vision, team construction, style of play etc…. If they pick 30 players there are most definitely another 90 that are deserving, but, for whatever reason, don’t get the nod. If you go to some of these camps its easy to identify who shouldn’t be there but nearly impossible to differentiate between the top 5-7 players.

You should learn to read. It’s an important life skill.

I can read. Perhaps the #1 point of this board is discussion of "clubs" and which ones are the best for developing players. Can't give that "win" to CT if the player left the state to play in NY. All that said whether 0 or 1 the point is still the same.

NYSC is literally just across the border from CT and she played at all CT clubs up until recently

Also people often use NE for both NorthEast and NewEngland

Finally, if this is what gets you riled up you should re-evaluate things in your life.

World Class? They have won 4 games—2 each against EM (0-6) and PDA white (1-5). CFC has only had one goal scored against them this year and WC just lost to Stars Blue 3-0.
