The op said “No one is leaving GA.”
NEFC DPL dad misread it and said, and I’m paraphrasing, “go ahead and leave mighty NEFC GA for Stars you dumbass, and my kid will gladly fill the void.” And then had to throw in NEFC coaching and teams are, of course, superior.

And the truth is, who “should” be on either team fully depends on what that particular coach sees and values in a player. That’s the case on all teams. I know you are hoping for me to disparage some Blue players, but that’s not happening. Lots of talent on that team. Just like there’s lots of talent on NEFC, White, Scorpions, Select and other teams. The reality is that all of the “best” players will never be on the same team for one reason or another (and having choices isn’t a bad thing).

My D’s Scorpions team has practiced 2x week for 90-120 minutes per session indoors at Forekicks every week in December, January, February & March (so far) aside from 10 days off around Christmas. On top of that the club offered futsal on Monday nights & Sundays all winter, plus set up a half dozen scrimmages outdoors whenever the weather was warm. I don’t understand how that’s not happening with you guys?

The team is unprepared to start the season. The coach is just not engaged and can’t figure out that these 13 year olds don’t know what the 17 year olds he usually coaches know. So they flounder around for a few games, drama ensues as parents get frustrated, kids leave, new kids arrive, the players have some natural talent so they gradually figure out how to make some things work, they start to get better just as the season ends, optimism sets in, off season team training is non existent but the girls find their own ways to stay in shape, start the new season having lost the tenuous progress they were making. Repeat.
