The clubs applied and were accepted. Top teams ECNL. Second teams ECNL-R. There are no clubs in the entire country who are in ECNL who have any affiliation with GA/DPL.

right that makes sense. i just (mistakenly?) recalled that i think some west coast clubs had teams in GA and ECRL last year but perhaps im remembering incorrectly.

You are correct. Some GA clubs also had teams in ECNL-R. Beach, Legends and Sporting BV.

But no clubs with ECNL membership have any affiliation with GA/DPL. I’m sure it’s probably a league mandate after the DA fiasco. The new clubs are now “all in” with the ECNL platform.

You need some new material... this is old. Try being the best club in Massachusetts instead of hanging on being in the best league. What does is say about Stars/Scorps if they are behind NEFC who is in an NPL type league?

How many times do we have to rehash the same crap before some of you stop talking about it? The Trump threads are starting to look appealing and that's saying something. I'd almost rather hear from the Mother Who Never Learns than read another post comparing ECNL and GA. How many of you have had actual discussions with your child about college soccer? What did you discuss? Who initiated the conversation? Was it productive?

My 07 sees it in the future but it is not something they dwell on or that comes up in daily discussions. They don't follow the ups-and-downs of the current teams although pre-covid we used to go watch some.

07 on a "list" team. We've talked about it as a possibility. She's not yet at a point where she is capable of deciding. She's on a track to be able to do it if she wants to but I'd give it 60/40 she ends up NOT playing in college. I was a little surprised to learn the kids do talk about it amongst themselves and are already feeling some degree of pressure associated with it.
